Either you weren't born until 2 decades after that Warriors championship you're so proud of or you are one sad old man

Say whatever you want, but nobody wants to live in Utah especially NBA players

No, I'm sure you're right. I'm sure every player in the NBA wants to go to a place where the only real hall of famer to play his whole career there gets completely embarrassed on his celebratory night because their thug fans can't hide their emotions from the owner of how proud they are to tank yet another season away. I bet they are so excited to see the Clippers become the next good west coast team when it was supposed to be them. It was at least good for a laugh from everyone else in the world.

warrior fans coming in droves trying to troll the jazz board. even after a game, very rarely do opposing teams fans go to the other board, and if that does happen, usually it is to congratulate or receive some "gifts" from the mods.

but with this lottery thing, GSW fans are acting like they just won a championship and are coming to other boards to rub it in. it is the 7th pick. you had to suck BADLY to get it.at one point in the season, GSW and Jazz were a game apart in the playoff standings. not only did warriors miss the playoffs, but they sucked all the way to the 7th worst record in the league. but still, 6 other teams are picking before them. and knowing their history, they'll probably just draft another bust, or trade him away, or let him run out his contract.

i mean afterall, who wouldn't want to build their franchise around an unproven coach jackson, injury-prone bogut, injury-prone curry, and lee? 7th picks are ALWAYS franchise players capable of putting the team over the top. the jazz were looking for a just a piece in the 8 pick, but the warriors mortgaged the season, and team, for a 7th pick.

warrior fans are showing utah they are also empty cans.

Here's an attempt at solace:

"The Jazz own the 47th pick in this draft. Their last No. 47 pick: Paul Millsap in 2006. Before that: Mo Williams in 2003."

 Way to blow things out of proportion. Chris Mullen wasn't the one embarrassed it was Joe Lacob who was embarrassed that night.
And he wasn't the only hall of fame player that played for the Warriors. Ever heard of Rick Barry and Nate Thurmond?

Have you ever been to Utah? For anyone that loves to get outside and go fishing/hunting, etc. it's great. Salt Lake is also beautiful and then there's Moab. The Mormom culture is pretty prevalent, but nothing that can't be handled.

Unbelievable that GS and Jazz fans are still going at it.

It's over with, congrats on your pick GS. Hopefully we get a good pick next year from them, but best of luck.

Yeah, I've heard of those dinosaurs, and I'm sure if either of them were there, the fans would have cared just as little. Watch the youtube video of it again and remind yourself of just how embarrassed Mullin was. He was extremely embarrassed and even tried to teach the thugs a lesson in manners, of course to no avail.

Plus, his name is super hard to spell, I wouldn't waste my time cheering for him either.

Man I have spent waaaay too much time on the forums all day. I went out last night, got off work around 3 today and just have felt so lazy and content today. I think i've watched 5 episodes of Mad Men. Usually I'm always anxious about trying to do something fun. Weird feeling

@timkawakami: Warriors GM Bob Myers: "We kept our pick, we kept our integrity and I think we have some good options going forward."

You can't make this stuff up.

Chris Mullen handled it just fine and he wasn't embarrassed. It was Joe Lacob who was being humilated and Chris Mullen did a good job of calming the crowd down. Plus the team is moving to San Francisco so we won't have this supposed "thug" problem that you keep referring to. The Niners have a great fanbase. So do the Giants. There's gonna be a lot more of those types of fans instead of Oakland/Raider idiots

Having a winning culture causes sensitivity in fans... you'll understand one day when you drop the Dubs and find a good team to follow.

Warriors: 1 Championship.
Jazz: 0 Championships

Not that I'm endorsing this rub in, but the Warriors have won 3 titles. Two of them were in Philadelphia, which included the very first NBA championship (it was called BAA back then).

Oh well. We'll get it next year or the next. Why is everyone saying it turns into two seconds if we don't get it next year? Everything I've read says the pick is top 7 protected in 2013 and top 6 protected in 2014. If we don't get it in 2014, then it becomes a 2014 second and a 2016 second.

I doubt the warriors will cut it this close again, but that team's not making the playoffs in the west any time soon.

I can't wait to see how fast your team can teach that shiny new #7 draft pick how to lose. A culture of losing breeds losers, and GSW are right here in this forum proving that. Get a life losers. Have fun trying to not get mugged on the way to watching your team tank next season too under it's "improved front office". Getting mugged int he bay area, now that's a new meaning to being butt hurt...

1. Culture of loser breeds losers, I agree. However, the GSW have a new owner, new coach, new gm, new president, new core, new almost everything, they will even move to SF. Therefore, the statement is invalid.

2. Get a life. No, if you're on this board, then you should too. If you're complaining warriors tank and you can't get the pick, you should get a life too.

3. Getting mug in the bay area. Why the f would I get mugged in the bay area? All my homies are here. If you're planning to play the geographic part, it's probably not that fun in Utah. Ask Deron.

Sum : Quite being but hug just because you couldn't get the 8th pick. You aimed the attention of them tanking, then karma, then blaming on the fans, blaming the culture of the Warriors. You guys shouldn't be talking smack about winning or losing. When was the last time the Jazz won a conference title? Jazz are basically as insignificant as the Warriors in the past few years.

Return to Utah Jazz
