Drummond is sure to impress all teams during his workouts, therefore blazers will want to move up to secure him.

For the bobcats, the two players they would be looking at the hardest would be t.robinson and Barnes. They won't look at beal as he walker would be too small in the back court, they probably won't look at Drummond as he and byembo in the front court is too much of a project and mj would have fears of another kwame. If bobcats trade the 2nd pick for the blazers 6th pick will get one of the two players they wanted anyway in Barnes or t.rob

Wiz and cavs would pick beal and mkg as they have no need for t.rob
Kings would choose either Barnes or t.rob then bobcats would be left with the other who they wanted all along anyway.

Bobcats trade 2nd pick Drummond and Augustine for 6th Barnes or t.rob and 11th pick lamb?

Blazers
C Drummond
F Aldridge
F Batum
G Mathews
G Augustine

Bobcats
C beyombo
F t.rob
F Henderson
G lamb
G Kamba

I'd be hesitant to pull the trigger on this.

DJA for #11 is a valid swap for both sides. DJA is a proven and we seem to be committed to Kemba, warts and all.

That leaves us trading #2 for #6.

I'm personally pretty down on Barnes, and T-rob won't last past #5.

Well this sucks! hard to say it after Bobcats get the highest pick in club history (traded for #2 in 04) but thats how I feel.

Hate to burst your bubble but 2 things are set in stone this draft. Stern will say this on draft day NOH select Anthony Davis and Charlotte Bobcats select Andre Drummond. Whether we will pick for somebody else its up in the air but Drummond will be the selection. Once workouts start all the scouts will jump back on his bandwagon and he will be unanimous 2nd pick. Everybody else has lower potential and big holes in their game.

I know that Drummond and Biyombo can't coexist unless one develops a good mid range jumper (not gonna happen). But just to let you know Drummond will be the 2nd pick

I could see Wiz taking T Rob, they're sick of Blatche.

Although Beal and Wall would be a solid mix, Wall has the size to fit well with him.

DJA doesn't really appear to be apart of our future plans so that decreases his trade value.

Could T Rob ever drop down to 6.

Wizards - Beal
Cavs - MKG
Kings - Barnes??? Surely not over T Rob.

If we draft Drummond and Portland want him, I would let them know if that somehow T Rob falls, its a done deal!

Wizards are picking SG or SF unless they are picking for somebdy else or are taking BPA to solve that later by the trade. They have Nene, Seraphin, Veselý, Booker and J.Singleton(FA) as big men rotation, that's more than enough. They have a hole at SF (C.Singleton, maybe Lewis) and would like to replace Crawford with someone more effective (at least fans think so). They need shooting the most right now. Blatche is irrelevant game-wise, they only need to solve his salary but they don't him on court at all. They stroke gold with Seraphin and other young bigs show promise. Nene seems to like it there so far.

He is a bit overgrown. They use him as PF/C now. I mean you can remeber him guarding each other with DJ White, Mullens and even Biyombo in games against us, specially the last one. He is a glue guy, faciliator, passer, screensetter, shot allergic like Diaw, moves off ball well.

:D :o :-? Actually now that unibrow is the Biyou Brow and the Bobcats are picking second maybe a blessing . We have the ability to have 3 lottery picks in the first round? Heres How.
Port needs center and will trade us #6 and #11 to get Drumond. If not then #6 and #41 and a young player (Jony Flynn PG)off their roster.. We draft Barnes at 6. and Marshall at 11. If not we trade DJ Augustine to NOH straight up for 10th pick and draft Marshall . If both trades go down we draft PJone at 11 or if not a sleeper center in Kyle Quinn at #41 and SG John Jenkins at 31.

There are so many scenarios.
Toronto maybe be interested in trading up from 8 and could offer us a player of value.
Detroit""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" 9 """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Houston """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""14 and include 16 and a player like Lowery.

I think we are in control of this draft after Davis is selected at #1.
Hold your heads up Charlotte!!! :D

So that "Scout" is just telling him what everyone already knows who paid attention to college basketball last year. He reminds me of Walker in that he has a good stroke, nice arc, and absolutely horrific footwork. No thanks

Obviously you did not see that workout mix someone posted of Beal. He has excellent footwork, and extremely quick feet. He was performing the same drills Hendo performed in his summer workout, only quicker and more fluid. This kid is the real deal.

Sachmo wrote:fair enough, anyone think T Rob could fall to 6?

Only if he measures under 6'8 at the predraft camp.

I have been playing devils advocate all spring for Beal, T-Rob, and MKG. At this point my favorite is
T-Rob. We have never had a true first option big. T-Rob could become that. People keep calling him short for some reason even though he was listed at 6'9 at Kansas, and his last camp listed him at 6'10. I just can't see taking a wing with no jump shot number two. I also can't see a taking a 6'3 two guard at number two unless he shows that he can be a full fledge combo guard. If he can get me 6'4 1/2 with a 6'5 or better wing span my tune would change dramatically.

I have said before I want another lottery pick this year. Here are my scenario.

1. We draft T-Rob, and offer Augustine to Portland and New Orleans for 10 or 11. There we take the most explosive scorer available namely Austin Rivers.

I think this would be the makings of a really fun team to watch. These two add a little more heart, and desire to win to our marshmallow flavored team. I can see the alleys going up to T-Rob now as well as Austin spotting up from anywhere.

Kemba, freeagent, Austin
Hendo, Austin, Reggie
Maggetti, Barnes, Jamison?
T-Rob, Jamison, Mullens
Bismack, Mullens, Diop

After taking some time to pout over not getting Davis, I am back to normal. And after some reflection, I am startig to really warm to the idea of T-Rob paired with Biyombo in our starting front court. I think the duo would be very strong defensively and on pulling down rebounds. And Robinson will be a scorer. Starting to really like this idea.

You want to keep a killer cluch shooter away from a team who doesn't have one single clutch player on the roster? I understand your hesitancy, but what you have to realize is that Rivers would be our Jason Terry. His one, and only job would be to come off the bench and put points on the board. All of the negatives you may have about Rivers were said about Jason when he was the starter in Atlanta. When it is all said and done Rivers is a good kid. We would be lucky to land him as a sixth man.

I might not be a big Drummond fan, but by god he is the only player, aside from Davis, who has the potential to be a franchise changer. We need a center, and Drummond is tall and athletic enough to play the center position. Lets just pray that the man grows a brain.

Givony's detailed mock draft for yahoo is up - he had us taking Robinson and believes they woud work well together with Biyombo (DX was very high, very convinced and right about Bismack last year).
