I think the Cavs are giving up too much to move down and/or up from 24 to 11.

This is getting alittle scary for me. I was hoping no worse than 3 but 4 could be a problem. My top 3 are Davis,Kidd-Gilchrist, and Beal, and I feel they may go top 3 and then what?? Drummond?? NO FREAKING WAY. 29% foul shooter we already got Thompson and his 40% teams would just go hack a shaq on the cavs, plus this dude takes plays off and has motivation problems been there done that with JJ Hickson already. Forget him PLEASE Forget him. Now How about Robinson?? I see another Derrick Williams another freaking tweener and even if he plays PF and proves me wrong you ahev him a Tristan and still havent addressed your 2 or 3. I know you have pick #24 but to get a 2or 3 there that will impact is not probably going to happen. I do like Jeremy Lamb but not at 4. I just Hope Beal or Kidd-Gilchrist is there at 4 or this could be a potential problem for the Cavs.

Robinson looks more like a prototypical PF compared to Williams. There have been some concerns on his measurements but that will be addressed shortly. Now that I've looked into it more there is simply no reason to take Robinson over Drummond unless something unexpected pops up during the workouts.

As for TT his FT% has been progressing reasonably. 48% in college and 55% his rookie year in the NBA. You only have to be around 60% for the hack a shaq to backfire in the long run.

We kind of got spoiled with Irving and Lebron. Both solid and easy picks. For a franchise like us that has to build through the draft I can see why you don't want to go with anyone risky, especially when pairing Irving with at least another all-star level player either this year or next is a MUST, but the NBA isn't so simple and we are going to have to put on the big boy pants sooner or later and make at least one risky move to succeed.

Barnes can't create his own shot. Neither can Luol Deng, neither could Glen Rice. He's not a superstar, but, after MKG, he very well could be the best fit with Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson.

If that is the pick, then I would expect 24 to be spent on either a defensive minded center (Melo) or on a combo-guard the can facilitate the ball movement to play SG (DLamb).

I want you guys to pick up MKG, he is such an awesome kid (no pun intended). I think adding an Iggy/Deng type player to your team will be a solid building block next to Irving and Thompson. No one is going to outwork MKG.

MKG will probably not be there at 4. I am pretty sure of that. Drummond is too much of a risk at 4. This team cannot take that kind of risk at 4 with another project we already have that with Tristan. When you get a top 4-5 pick you have to hit plain and simple, if not then you set yourself back especially even more here in Cleveland where no Free agents want to come at all. The more I sit her and think this thing out i see the Cavs taking Barnes which really does not excite me, I see Davis 1 MKG 2 and Beal 3 to Washington. The only way we get Beal or MKG is if Robinson gets in there I do not see Drummond going ahead of the Cavs. Jordan got burned with Kwame Brown and Washington with Blatche so they will not want to make that mistake again. I just hope we do not make the mistake they made in the past by taking Drummond.

IMO it would be extremely foolish for the Cavs to pass on Harrison Barnes. I just don't care what anyone says about anything pertaining to Barnes, don't care.....Bottom line is that he will score over 22 pnts a game in his prime GUARENTEED. It's best for Barnes to go into a situation where hes not depended on too heavily. Kyrie Irving should be the man this fall regardless, it's important for Barnes to fall in as a second option or even third in his rookie year, he will thrive as long as he isnt depended on being the man as a rookie

it would be impossible for Barnes to fall to third option next year unless we go after a scorer in free agency. Guy could start off at 12 ppg and would be our second option.

If we did get Drummond we could end up as the worst offense in the league next year.

irving
gee
asspi
TT
Drumond/ Varejao

painful to watch

WHY COULDNT WE JUST GET THE THIRD PICK WHYYYYYYYY

Not my favorate (prefer Lamb), but don't have the problem with Barnes some do.

Worst case I think he's an Al Harrington type scorer, but is willing and able to play better defense.
Kyrie will be option #1 and Barnes fits in extremely well with him.

Either way there will be other nice fits like Jeff Taylor or Orlando Johnson available at #24.

As I keep thinking about it, I cannot for the life of me think that Charlotte drafts MKG or Beal. Those guys are really complimentary type stars whereas Char desperately needs a face of their franchise. I think the two guys who fit that bill is either Drummond or Thomas Robinson. T Rob would like great next to Bismack and as I suggested he is the most polished person and scorer in the draft - IMO. I also think that Drummond could be a target just because MJ would love to be able to mentor him.

With WAS on the board, I think they go with Beal. Wall is a horrible outside shooter and an MKG/Wall back court does not fit well. I know the talk right now is MKG at 2......but I think there is an outside chance he slips to 4

I agree. I think 4 and AV would be giving up too much.

My wish list at 4:

1. MKG- wont be there, but I can dream
2. Jermey Lamb- ideal 2 gaurd next to Kyrie. Has size, can shoot and create
3. T Rob- better version of TT

Stay away:

1. Drummond- project big. No thanks
2. Barnes- cant create
3. Beal- small, not explosive

I think there is a decent chance MKG will drop to you guys. I think workouts will close the media-inflated gap b/w him and guys like Barnes, Harkless, Ross, etc.

I think Barnes or Drummond would be ideal for you guys. Barnes doesn't need to be able to create, he'd have Kyrie doing that for him and Barnes would do what he does best, drain shots. Drummond I'm hoping like hell my Bobcats take at 2 but if he falls to you guys I'd grab him and run. He's a project but after striking gold with Kyrie last year I think you can afford to gamble on the best Center prospect to come out since Howard.
