the rockets have the 14 and 16 pick and already have alot of young talent. wonder if we could turn jj or anderson+future 1st into the 14th pick. draft rivers and harkless. we would go into the summer of 13 with tons of flexibiliy.

Wait! Rivers ahead of Duhon on the depth chart...I'm sure Duhon won't take being a 3rd string too lightly

If that happened, I'd rather take Marshall and Harkless.

Marshall wont be there. #10, #11 or #13 he's gone.

Then hold on to the 16th pick, use the 14th pick and a 2013 1st rd pick to move up, then draft Marshall and Harkless.

His mechanics look good and he played the 4 and sometimes 5 because st johns was a small team. He never really had a chance to play on the perimeter. He's a small forward and his shot will come around. Working out 12 hrs a day at img on his ball handling and shooting. And i don't think his handles are bad. He seems to play pretty feisty too and he has a chip on his shoulder in addition to being a hard worker. I like his potential.

I see personally see a Hakim Warrick/Dante Cunningham/smaller Earl Clark type. Man of no position.

*Im adding this highlight video because i think the scouting vids on him are over negative. Im not that high on him, but i dont think he is as bad as the vids make him look.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7ekchnh

*With this trade we also get Bucks 12th pick and they get our 19th pick. While Minnesota also gets Vazquez and future 1st round pick!

We select Perry Jones III @ 12...too much potential to pass up!

Did you seriously suggest that Minnesota trade the #2 pick in the draft only a year ago for an expiring JJ Redick and a "future 1st?"

@ Blue and White: Thank you :D

@ Neon1: Did you almost forget that they have David Kahn (Otis Smith protege  ) who last year wanted to trade their #2 pick for soon to be declining/bloated contract Pau Gasol on draft day? Btw I also added Fran Vazquez rights to the deal! They get an athletic C, and nice sharpshooter in Redick for a player they don't really need 8-)

I really don't like Harkless's shot, its just not fluid at all. He's not the type of player that is going to create quality shots consistently. I don't like this Nicholson guy either.

From what I've seen so far, I like Teague, Taylor, White. Still need to check out some other guys though.

I also believe Draymond Green will be a solid NBA player. I wish we could nab him in the second some how.

I agree with every comment you made here. As far as Green, if that guy can guard a wing (he is probably too slow) he could possibly be an extremely good Power SF. Kid does everything, he is similar to White in some ways. If he is there for the taking in the 2nd round (highly doubtful) you take him without hesitation and figure out his proper position later. He is easily a better player (right now) then ANY of these non-PG prospects we have discussed here so far. He is only being doubted due to his height/true position questions. Dudes arms are rediculous amounts of long (like Jason Maxiell long) btw, he probably actually can play the PF effectively in the NBA if wanted too.

Yep, I totally agree. At worst he will be a good player off the bench, but he is going to stick in the NBA that's for sure. He is more skilled as a ball player than most guys in the entire draft, but like you said he has size and defense question marks that I think are over blown really. Those videos you posted make me even more sure.
