Violations of Rules #3 and #10.

Two drinks, players.

And no, the Rockets would not consider that.

Yes.

Blame the trades and not the drinking game. My lawyer says that will keep the heat off of me.

Two players we don't need, two prospects we don't need (we have plenty stashed overseas), a draft pick that we can be patient to receive and money that we don't need and we move down to the 17 in exchange for the 14 and 16.

Yes, that is a "no."

I'd much rather try to move up or use them in a consolidation move. Houston doesn't need more "assets" at this time.

If all's left alone I'll keep the two earlier picks, tho.

Well, first off you asked for 14 and 16. As for what it is worth - nothing in the package you offered. I'd rather use it in a better trade or draft there.

Ok what would it take to move up to 14 from 17?

I'd have to think about 14. I see the priority for that pick is:

1) Use it in a deal to move up in the draft
2) Use it in a trade (consolidation move)
3) Draft there

I don't see us moving down unless we get some good value, and I'm not seeing it with what Dallas has to offer.

If you want to swap 16 and 17 I think that they'd do it if you remove all protection on the Dallas pick we currently have.

thats like trading 1 decent player (that we dont need), and a bunch of 3rd stringers for two mid round picks in a deep draft. trying to sell us on the quantity of what we receive, but not the quality. you know why? CUZ THERE IS NO QUALITY!!!!

we dont got michael jordan running things in the front office. im sure he'll fall for that sorry ass bullcrap

I thought Cuban loved Roddy and he was the point guard of the mavs future...or is this part of the plan to get Deron Williams?
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Roddy is the only player worth a damn in that trade and the rest of them wouldn't even make the team. So for arguments sake lets say you're trading roddy + 3 million in cash. Now lets not forget that Roddy will be a second string pg for us AT BEST(thats IF we don't resign dragic). Now do you understand why this trade makes ZERO F'N sense?
