scoop jackson suggest the bobcats should go after a trade for davis.

what do you guys think it would take to get him and would it be worth it?

That article, for lack of a better word, is dumb.

We don't need scoring? We, the Lolcats, don't need scoring?

portland - 6 and 11 for 2?
cavs - 4 and 24 for 2?
warriors - 7 and 30 (and something else?) for 2?

The only one I would consider is the Cavs option but only if we have a good feeling that 2 or 3 isn't going to be Beal.

If Beal gets picked, I think you have to go with Barnes at 4 and hope you can get a Royce White/Wroten/talent but issues at 24.

Not interested in 6 and 11 unless Cho has plans to flip one of those for an established player. The Warriors, as I mentioned in the other thread, would need to throw Curry in and take Tyrus Thomas back. If you're drafting 7th in this class, you might as well draft 15th.

I would do the 4 and 24 for 2 because I think that the probability of either Beal or Robinson being there at 4 are pretty high. Then at 24 I would look to try and get Quincy Miller. Perhaps we could look to trade 24 + 31 for one of Boston's picks to move up a few spots and nab Quincy.

Coming out with Trob/Beal and Miller would be a huge win for Cho. Miller is a guy who has all the tools to be a great offensive player. If we could figure out a way to get him in the middle of the draft while also getting one of our targets we already have at two it would be brilliant. Much like what Cho did last draft with getting rid of Sjax and picking up Bizmack.

I also wonder if a team like Dallas sitting at 17 would be interested in a S&T for DJ Augustin. I think at 17 we would be clear to draft Miller and then we could fill the back court hole with the 31st pick. Either way, I anticipate a move of some kind from Cho on draft night and based on last year, that should excite us all.

As others have said, the 2nd tier appears to be Beal, Kidd-Gilchrist, & Robinson, with Drummond being the "wild card." So, trading below #5 makes little sense.

The #2 -for- #4/#24 just makes so much sense to me. There's no way that Washington takes Robinson with their #3 pick.

The #24 pick is adequate compensation for giving up the #2 overall pick?!?!? Are you guys crazy? I would rather have their first round pick next season because chances are it will be much better than 24 which is crap. I also want them to take on one of our sh*tty contracts for moving up to the 2 spot. 24 pick is crap.

got this off the draft board..obviously just a workout showing only makes but Terrence Ross looks legit man. beautiful stroke, athletic 6'7 SG/SF. could possibly he had around 15th. looks like he could be a potent scorer with that shot

Ross has always been a guy a lot of people like. He's just not the type of guy you take in the range we've been looking at all year. Had we been towards the latter half of the lottery, I'd be excited about him.

How about:

cavs - 4 and 24 and the right to switch future 1st round picks for 2?
or
whorenets - 1 and Okafor for 2, DJA and #31

That's the problem this year. I read a wiretap link that mentioned Toronto being interested in Moe Harkness at #8. I've seen him in the 15-20 range for a long time.

If there's a year where we will have huge surprises in the lottery (movers and fallers), it's going to be this year.

6 and 11 is probably not on the table; well certainly not till they have clear GM; their board wouldn't do that as well

No way Benson would allow his men trade their very first very first pick thus frnachise player no matter what wold be offered.

From Cleveland¨s second rounders I like ORL 2014 (they have their 2013 as well)

eh, only #4 has any excitement to it. I'd rather have our pick of the best after Davis than the pick of the guys after the two guys after davis (or the 5 guys after davis).

Draft day trades that high up without player swaps involved are pretty rare lately. It's hard to know what's fair value.

Raps fan here. Bobcats fans seem pretty delusional with the #2 pick . From an outsiders opinon there isnt much difference betwwen the 2nd pick and the 8th pick in this draft. Any one of the players taken at these possitins could turn out to be a stud. I tihnk you will be hard pressed to find teams giving up "too much" for just the # 2 pick.

Seeing Cho's face after they didint win number 1 was pricless... all that loosing on purpous for number 2 lol.

charlette didint deserve it .

If i had the number 2 pick i think you guys should take Barnes. MKG is still to risky.

or take T rob.

I was just shedding some insight on the pick... why waste your time thinking your going to get bynum.

I just spoke with a guy at work. He is a LA native. he says the LA fans are talking about gettting howard for bynum or wade and bosh, ( i dont think it will happen) but you can see they want bigger and better things then #2.

Raptors will make playoffs before the Bobcats IMHO, LONG before . you guys had 7 wins this year. that set a record. i understand why you want to change your name from back to the hornets now.

ANyways. i didint come hrre to insult you guys. I wanted to see what you were trying to get for the 2nd pick. You guys need to realize your pick is just as valuable as 3, 4 , 5, 6, and better players could emerge from 7, 8, 9, 10, in this draft.

As for trades, the Portland #6 + #11 is interesting but if history serves correct we ought to keep this pick and figure out who the BPA is going to be.
