Yanks (27-23) @ Detroit Tigers (24-27): Strange Days

Post#1 » by Dr. Detfink » Sat Jun 2, 2012 3:29 pm

Despite all the injuries, disappointments, and questions...Yanks are only 1.5 games out of first place. 2 games from AL leading Texas Rangers. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!?!

Well, last night the Yanks bats came alive and battered the Tigers around 9-4. But there's no question when CC is on the mound that the Yanks have more confidence.

But the Tigers are one of those sleeping giant teams. I can see this team erupting in the second half on offense. Hopefully they won't wake up against the Yanks.

Kuroda @ Porcello

Hughes @ Verlander (that's a loss)

Clueless Joe 2.0 strikes again.

First and Second, no outs and Jeter has a 2-0 count and goes for a sac bunt.

What a dumb FC UK. Giving away outs, playing for the tie on the road against a pitcher about to be on the ropes.

Seeing how Cabrera and Fielder are the All-you-can-eat infield...it's not a bad try.

Corey Wade, I LOVE you.

Tomorrow verlander vs Hughes.

Jeter and A-Rod go yard...Yanks get to Verlander early. 5-1...let's home they hold it.
