Rondo is overrated

A 44 points game doesn't make you a better player. A point guard who can't even shoot will never be considered to be "great". I'm so sick of the Rondo top-5 pg nonsense.

If Rondo put up better regular seasom numbers, a lot more people would put him in there top 5 fortunately for Rondo he won a ring early In his career and his team is older so he doesn't give 100% during the regular season. He could average 16-11-5 if he wanted to.

different PG's have different strengths. Rondo eats Parker, Paul and Nash for lunch on defense. better passer than Parker and Westbrook.

Who cares if he can't shoot? If you dominate and you don't utilize your jumpshot that much, why criticize them. DWade can't shoot that well for a SG, so would you not him a top 5 guard because of this?

For the most part I agree with the assessment the OP made, but he is killing in this round of the playoffs though. The Heat are playing off of him and he's making the open jumper at a nice clip, nothing more, nothing less. I still do believe that people overrate this man a little bit too much for my liking, but hey whatever.
