Up until two years ago, I hated Rondo. I thought he was overrated and benefited by playing with good players. However, at this point, the guy is a straight baller. He has developed way more than I thought and I always thought he'd be a decent player.

don't get why having a good game gets people to post like they are right and vice versa, overreaction. Anyways I though cp3 was better than rondo so I guess that's why I think he is overrated, I guess its better to be more specific, he is slightly oversted then . But let me be clear anyone that thinks rondo is better than cp3 is stupid

Watch the game. He barely made any impact in the 2nd half due to his inability to score.

LeBron fouled out and failed to make impact in OT due to being because of that, i guess that makes him overrated. Or how about Wade missing that 3, totally overrated.

Get outta here with that, Rondo made two floaters in clutch. You just can't expect anyone to carry the team on every possession, if Rondo could do that he would be THE best player in the league.

How can people be allowed to post blatant lies?

Yeah, because we all know Allen, Pierce, and Garnett only started shooting well when they began playing with Rondo.

don't know why anyone would make a thread about RR being over-rated in the POs. the guy always elevates his game in the post-season. incredible series so far. definitely a top 5 pg.

In all seriousness Rondo needs to be an aggressive scorer in order for the Celtics to beat the Heat in Miami. Expect a scoring mentality from Rondo in Game 5.

1.3 SPG
0 BPG
.541 FG%
.286 3PT%
.737 FT%

Against the Heat so far.

GREAT argument OP. /green

I could honestly care less how he plays during the regular season. The kid always shows up during the post-season and when it counts.

I think you need to re-watch it a few times. The game plan diverged away from him having to score and focused on him trying to get his teammates involved. After Pierce fouled out, Rondo immediately became aggressive and started attacking the rim. If you're going to try to troll, put some effort into it.

He's been the same player for the last 3 years... it's your fault for not acknowledging it sooner.

I want to see Rondo without Pierce, Allen, Garnett and put up numbers like Deron Williams and Chris Paul then come talk to me.

I am sure Rondo would have no problem putting up 12.8 points on 37%, 9 assists to 4.5 turnovers and 4 rebounds like CP3 did while getting swept against the Spurs

That's irrelevant. Rondo didn't choose his teammates.
