We have instant offense on the bench? Whom might I ask is that? And don't say 42% Nate Robinson. McGuire offense sucks. Rush is kinda decent. Jenkins too inconsistent. Richard Jefferson is now a three point specialist and not the RJ from the nets. Lamb can be our bench scorer averaging 13-15 ppg. His offensive game is smooth. Come playoffs were gonna need that spark.

At 7 we aren't going to find a starting 3 or a productive big that's ready to contribute. At the 7 I see Lamb being ready to contribute. Plus Klay gets his backup. I know bench needs esp securing shouldn't be an option but I think this kid is too talented to pass up on. Id like Sullinger but I want to go the veteran route for a big. I'm not a fan of the new Carolina players in the league. If we could find a way to move up to get Drummond I'd love that. He could learn from Bogut.

Last thing this team has ever needed was offense. If we're that desperate for "instant offense", we can just go into the D-League and pull out the next Reggie Williams, it's not that difficult. In a playoff scenario you want a high-energy offensive spark, and that's exactly what Nate does. Jason Terry shot 43% from the field in the regular season.

DITTO...our biggest weakness is rebounding. The great thing about this draft is there will be a good big man available at 7. I hope it's Sullinger or Henson, but after last years' pick, If West feels there's somebody else out there that we should target, I'll have faith in him to help the team get better.

Not popular around here, I know, but don't be surprised to see West take Austin Rivers, even if Beal, Sullinger, Henson, and Robinson are still available.

Studying Jerry West for many, many years, Austin Rivers is a West kind of player.

Thompson, conceivably, could play SF, and the Warriors could actually use Rivers' skillset (penetration, shot-creation, ability to handle the ball and play some PG).

The mythical "third bigman" will come via trade or free agency.

I have a very hard time seeing West grab bigs like Sullinger, Henson, or even Robinson over a talent like Rivers.

Unless he's gone at six, I think Austin Rivers is the pick.

I would be extremely disappointed if Rivers is the pick at 7 and would demand that West be evaluated for dementia.

I said that a few months ago. I can see West being all over him, but I don't see that being the case anymore since there will be several bigs available at #7.

It looks like he's expected to go at around 17. I could see the Dubs trying to move up with #30 and possibly one of the #2s to get him. I was thinking that he'd be a good choice as well but also agree 7 is too high and I'd like to use 7 to get a big or if possible a SF if we can move up.

He doesn't have a lethal jumpshot, and he's not strong enough to stay infront of defenders. It'll be a terrible move, we just got rid of a small tweener and we draft another one? I'd see him as a backup, maybe as a starter if Curry goes down. His future should be at PG not @ 2 or like you said, we're back to midget 2's which we want to stay away from if we can.

If we draft Rivers Lacob and Co should be getting a lot of hate filled emails from knowldgeable fans. Guy is all hype which was intensified by the recent string of players who are former player's sons doing well. Great HS player whose stock took a hit (not as big as it should have) once he started playing against college competition. He's coming out this year because he'll be a late 1st rounder by next year whereas now he has "potential"

I mean I would like to know of a player who has ever left Duke and then gone on to be better than what he showed there. Irving is the only possible answer and that is because he was injured mostly. Usually players get overrated playing there, which doesn't speak highly of Rivers.

I'd take Barnes if he was there. Just got this feeling that he is going to be better than expected. One of those guys where some teams are going to be explaining "we had that position filled already..."

I guess you could count Grant, but he was pretty studly at Duke and was taken 3rd in the draft. Glenn Robinson and Jason Kidd went ahead of him.

Well, that would be North Carolina, where the opposite was true. Dean Smith recruited amazing talent but kept it in check. Many of them got better after leaving. Case in point was that guy named Jordan.
