But there are athletes who have done some terrible things. Like real life beating women, killing people, etc. and those guys get off easier than LeBron did because he hosted a TV show.
On the court, it's pretty obvious he's the best player in the world... yet people want to shove all of the blame on him for not being able to win rings with no talent around him or now severely under-performing talent around him. This year will be a great example... with Wade, who should be a top 5-10 player in his own right, playing like total garbage... the blame will still fall on James.
I guess it's hard for me to abandon logic in favor of just pure hate for a player, especially when there is no legitimate reason to really hate the guy. It's easy for me to admit he's the best player in the world because it's about as obvious as it gets.
At this point I find 'the Decision' more funny than anything else, funny that any moron on the planet would be stupid enough at any point to think that was a good PR move, and even funnier that the moron in question managed to convince Lebron James that it was. I spent some time in that world and it's fair to say it isn't full of geniuses, but I mean the guy suggesting it as a good idea would be instantly fired from the smallest most low budge PR firm in any flyspeck town on any map. To think those are the guys controlling maybe a top 5 most recognizable athlete in the world is just lol'worthy.
Anyway Lebron's definitely got some major douche tendencies and is in many ways a child that never grew up, but that doesn't stop him being the best player on the planet nor does it mean that his so called superstar teammate playing like ass is his fault.
The Heat's failings in this series are 100% on Wade, anyway suggesting otherwise is just hating because they can.
