If the mocks are all wrong at themoment I see us drafting lamb at 6 and bealmight slide because apart from the hype he has some holes in his game
Lamb has a lot of upside and could be a durant-lite

We really need either the Cavs or Kings to take Barnes. It would be huge for us in getting either Beal or Drummond.

If bobcats offer #2 and our 2013 first, would Blazers consider trading 6+11?

Is "our" meaning Charlotte or Portland 2013?

Apparent there's a TON of chatter coming out of the Chi combine and it's not even started, be on the lookout for player stocks to change drastically. People saying that the Top 10 will have players no one is even talking about.

Also, props to kdawg, word coming out of the combine already that Cavs may have Barnes listed as their main target, even over Beal.

Very interesting I wonder who it could be? I would guess Terrance Jones, Austin rivers (even though I disagree)..umm Ross, Waiters, and Sully?

Thank you for that...Wow...just wow his weaknesses are so bad, can we just stop with the Lillard at 6 now? This guy has awful defense and was bad against teams outside the big sky conf. I am thinking we shouldn't even pick him up at 11..I am just stunned...I don't ever want to hear anyone say mini or lite Westbrook again, dude looked like a poor Mo Williams in that vid.

scrub.

No convincing pgs in this draft where blazers are slotted, and not much in F/A. If Sessions re-signs with LA, Blazers are left with Dragic or Hill (RFA) to grow with their core.
Need to act very decisive for Dragic and overpay.

Bledsoe is intriguing.

Lillard reminds me of Norris Cole. Shoot first PG from a very small conference. Lillard could be good but I think we would have to wowed by him in workouts to consider picking him early

You are welcome. As more info comes in we all can benefit and reassess our opinions on possible draftees. This is a very good forum, we all want the Blazers to win, we likely will disagree on things at times which is totally normal and expected, lets just try to do that disagreeing at a "classy/respectful" level. I can be a bit of a bitch at times (nah, not possible! lol) as can others, buts lets try our best.

yeah, I'm really getting tired of all this affection showed towards short tweener guards like Bledsoe, and the Celtics' Avery Bradley. They aren't PG's and they wouldn't really help the Blazers. Why even bother thinking about giving up any assets for guys like that?

Sam Amick
More proof that the NBA combine is getting worse: Source says Anthony Davis, Bradley Beal, Andre Drummond, Dion Waiters, and Harrison Barnes are declining to take part in skills drills that involve running and shooting tomorrow. This list is likely to get longer, as agents try to limit the chances that their prospect works out in front of a large group and instead prioritize individual team workouts

It makes sense for everyone but Waiters. The rest of those guys have cemented their spots at the top of the lottery. Participating could potentially hurt their draft stock.

He will never be a traditional pass-first pg.

WT says that Cleveland is expected to take Harrison Barnes, I think that would be best case scenario for us

Lillard is a less explosive Bayless, if you want him fine, he'll be useful, but he won't solve our PG issue.
