Steve Nash was not a consistent starter until his fifth NBA season:

We don't need a PF.

Thoughts on Orlando Johnson? For some reason, his first name has a ring to it. LOL.

I think second round picks should be the best available player instead of trying to fill a need.

I like Arnett a lot he's got size
He's still a bit slim for right now but if we pick him
Dwight would have em in the weight room.
For me its Arnett Tony or Quincy
I'm in Pluto im at Mars at the SAME DAMN TIME

Either trade the pick to shed salary (e.g. Duhon) or give me Tony Wroten to take Duhon's minutes.

Trade the pick netting a likely solid piece in the rebuild just to cut 3.25 million dollars? It's not like we need the 3.25 million for something. Thats cutting off your own nose to spite your face, and honestly that line of thinking (throwing away draft picks) in the otis era played a huge part in us getting ourselves in this situation.

Just Plain Mark wrote:Wroten's got more downside than just his shooting; he also has a lot of trouble going right (he's a lefty). And his shooting from 3 is really bad (16%).

As for his decision making, he averaged more turnovers than assists. If his teammates couldn't handle his passes, he should have made an adjustment (though I have a hard time believing his teammates are at fault for his TO's).

huh? He can/does go right he is just a poor finisher with his right hand. And believe me his teammates did drop a lot of balls more so the big men than the wings.

If guys like Wall and Evans (who have terrible shots and questionable decision making) can go top 5 then wroten should at least be a lottery pick.

Well, $3,500,000 plus the guaranteed salary of the pick (~$1,500,000) = $5,000,000.

For the record, I don't think we sould trade the pick if there's someone we want on the board, but ultimately what this team needs is a strong GM/coach to recruit and cap space to actualize it.

yeah I just said the same thing in the spec thread lol... yeesh... he needs to work on that follow-thru big time... the other PGs seem to have good shooting mechanics though, especially from long distance

Who's the SG wearing #20? ... He has a great shot/follow-thru ... whether it's from mid-range or 3... whether he's stationary or pulling up off the dribble... great stroke

Edit
Was it Lamb?... NBADraft.net lists him going at #24.

Edit2
It is Lamb

ESPN is streaming it live online through http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/la ... /id/480436 - not an illegal stream, you just have to have the right cable provider.

Not impressed with Terrence Ross' ball handling, but I was impressed with D. Lamb on both offense and defense.
