this looks to me like Battier one year ago.. Everybody was excited about him and said he would be a perfect fit. I understand that veterans are less risky, but I'd rather take a risk on a younger guy and see him fail and progress than watch a 37 year old veteran underperform like we have seen too many times those last couple years.
And I'm not sure he'd be a great fit with Wade/Lebron, he's a floor general and needs to have the ball in his hands. He can't shoot, he's good at attacking the basket but if he starts, there's no one on the 1st unit to space the floor and free up the paint for him.

**** Andre Miller, **** all those other free agents! We need to find a way to get Chris Kaman! No one else. Sign & Trade, straight up trade, I don't know. We need to find a way to get him! Or go for Jamal Crawford, I've always thought he'd be on the heat sometime in his career.

not judging his ability, I just don't want the same mistakes to be made again

Kaman would be on the bottom of my list, this team needs driven people who want to win, not people who want to get paid. He refused to get bought on before the deadline in order to sign with a contender (and all contenders would have tried to recruit him) just so he could stay on a bad team and post good numbers so he can get paid this summer. With most GMs being morons, he will get paid.

And anyway, he's way out of the team price range and no way NOH accepts a S&T unless it includes one of the big 3

This story sounds like a copy/paste from 3 years ago

they could be solved with a solid point guard.I prefer a billups..

Someone who will make lebron, wade get going.

Lebron and Wade don't dominate the ball because we lack a PG ... they dominate the ball because they need to. That is their game. Look at how Lebron/Wade play when the other guy is dominating the ball ... and then imagine both of them playing like that while Andre Miller tries to run the offense.

You can't fix a car wreck by adding more cars.

I'd rather sign Allen Iverson. Team needs some fight and some backbone.

I would prefer that on the 1st day of free agency Pat show up at Cambys home & try to convince him to take our $3mil.

Ill take Marcus Camby and a new coach.

I like miller he isnt going to make us better, especially without a decent half court offense.

No more freaking wings. We have enough and they don't get play time as it is. We. Need. A. Center.

Nothing else. A center.

Is Riley freaking kidding me right now?

Look at Rondo going to the rim AT WILL with easy layups in this game 6.

and Riley seruously wants to add ANOTHER wing player?

WE NEED A DAMN BIG MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a good chance that HOU wont pick up the option on Dalembert. There is also a possibility that DAL uses the amnesty clause on Haywood. +Camby.
Then you have guys like Kwame Brown, DeSagana Diop, Aaron Gray who could fall in our price range.
