CHRIS WILCOX

Pistons add the 29 year old big man to the roster to provide depth and experience to the front line. Able to play both the 4 and 5, Wilcox has never been short on strength and athleticism and we hope that he will continue to carry the great effort he showed with the Celtics as a defender and rebounder off the bench to Detroit.

Surgery to correct a heart condition went as well as could be and he's expected to be 100% for the start of next season.

Off a 10 contract in April the dude put together a string of mid 20 point games, in case y'all forgot. His fg% was low, but in his defense, it was skewed downward by a string of bad games before he broke out. Didn't bother to do the math, but from the break out on, it seems like he shot in the mid 40% area. We've been looking for an alternative to Von Wafer in the 6th man, and Hudson will provide some competition for that spot. With his super low salary, its a very low risk, high reward move. Especially in the 2nd round of FA pickups..
