How does his head play apart of his defense? Bismack has a longer wingspan and standing reach. he only got wrecked last year from the rebounding department because hes still a child playing against grown men. you guys forget that, a 24 year old bismack will absolutely **** the league

that's right, they're the same size but dwight's head is really long.

Thomas Robinson measures 6-9 with a crazy 7-3 wingspan today. That should end any concerns about his size at the 4

8-)

I think this pretty much makes Robinson a lock for two regardless if we pick there.

I thought Beal was supposed to have some monster wingspan. I mean 6'8 is pretty good for his size but I thought he was gonna have some Dwyane Wade/Eric Bledsoe type freak wingspan.

If Ford is correct on the measurement for T-Rob, I feel comfortable with him playing PF for us.

Beal seems like the flavour of the season, he will be a good player no doubt but he will be OJ Mayo 2.0 imo.

I absolutely could be wrong but I believe if Beal gets taken top 5 he busts hard, he is nowhere near the athlete people make him out to be nor is he the shooter people make him out to be, the only elite skill he has for his position is rebounding and being a 6'2 SG will level that advantage out in the pros.

Also Hendo will probably be a better NBA player than Beal imo.

I would take Harrison Barnes over Beal in a heartbeat but I am obviously in the minority here.

He's checked in at 6'4 1/4 with a 6'8 winspan. So we can we stop with the shortening of players as a method of argument? He is still somewhat undersized but not enough that it will hinder him in anyway that he wouldn't be hindered already.

He's 6'4 in shoes so yes fair enough but a 6'4 SG with a 6'8 wingspan is still considered undersized especially when he is not an elite athlete.

With Kemba, Hendo and Biz we have role players. Missing out on Davis this season means we miss out on the prospect that is most likely to become a star at the next level.

I personally don't think that Robinson or MKG have star potential. I think if we draft one of those two we'll add another good player - but it will just be another role player (not that adding role players is a bad thing).

IMO Beal is the guy other than Davis that has the most star potential. Doesn't mean he'll reach it, doesn't mean that I wont be wrong on Robinson or MKG, just means that if it were me, I'd be going with the prospect that has the most star potential and for me, that's Beal.

All that said, I wouldn't be sad if we drafted Robinson. I would be a little dejected if we drafted MKG though.

Its to be seen if Kemba, Hendo and Biz are gonna be role players, role players are bench scrubs who come off the bench to fill a role, be it 3pt shooting, defense, rebounding..etc hence the name "role" player's, Kemba Hendo and Biz are all too young to be written off as one-dimensional just yet.

Good point Slam but the general consensus is that Drummond has the most star potential outside of Davis and I sure as hell wouldn't draft him.

If we didn't have Hendo, were picking at 6 and didn't have such a need in the front court I'd take Beal and not look back but at this point I believe we have to take the known commodity over a flyer.

People are underestimating Robinsons potential...

Anyways I hope we trade with Portland.

Fair enough with Kemba and Biz because they are only just coming off their rookie (condensed) seasons so maybe there might be future stardom tucked deep down that still might appear - but I just don't get that feeling with them. Hendo, however, has been around long enough now to know that he isn't and wont ever be on that level IMO.

I disagree. Obviously not all of a teams starting 5 are going to be stars - it just doesn't work that way. Heck, look at the hottest team in the NBA right now, the Thunder. Durant is a star, Westbrook is a borderline star but next to them you have 3 role players (Thabo, Ibaka and Perkins).

Nothing wrong with that, it's just the way it is. Doesn't make them scrubs who come off the bech - they are very important to the Thunder, but they ain't stars.

That's who I see Kemba, Hendo and Biz. It's also how I see Robinson and MKG. Beal might be exactly the same (or worse) but I just think he has some star qualities that at least leads me to believe he might have "it".

Again, I'm more likely to feel that way about Robinson than I am MKG though. I just don't think MKG has "it" at all.
