Why?

“Not sure, it’s my first time going through it. I was just told I don’t need to do that, (I) need to get ready for the interviews and things like that. I’m not sure on it.”

Uhhhh... It seems like the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor with Lamb.

He seems pretty bright whenever I've seen him interviewed. He's more like Bargnani, where he speaks more honestly rather than just saying platitudes.

Those Baylor kids measured out amazingly well. All three of Jones, Miller and Acy likely saw their stock rise after the measurements were released.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

Why not Royce White at 8? I think he can play the three. Similar size to Artest and Lebron, he is a top 5 talent in the draft and it seems like he has got over his fear of flying. If 8 is a reach then maybe trade down to get him.

Really? Someone posted an interview in this (or another) thread and it wasn't very flattering for Lamb. I'll see if I can find it.

Jeff Goodman ‏@GoodmanCBS

Quincy Miller should have stayed in school. Most NBA guys I have spoken to agree with me. Could easily be a second-rounder.

:o

Imagine getting miller with one of the second round picks

I see Lamb sliding out of the top 10. Measurements did not overwhelm, interviews are unimpressive, refuses to participate in drills. Guys like Lillard, PJ3, Waiters, Rivers and Sullinger will probably go ahead of him.

Great measurements for Lillard 6'3, 6'8 wingspan, 189 pounds, 8'0 standing reach. I think C_Money wanted to know if he was over 6 feet well the writings on the wall now. Plus he's impressed a ton of GMs with his skills, his demeanor and his work ethic. Man I hope we end up drafting him. Portland is the only team that I fear will take him ahead of us.

White reminds me of Corliss Williamson a little bit but with better passing

I've watched a few. No need.

If you've ever seen Derrick Rose interviewed, you'd think he wouldn't make it past his rookie contract. I mostly just look for whether they think about the question before they answer.

Yeah, Lamb doesn't usually sound like that. Dunno what's up.

Apparently he was in interviews from 3 to 9 p.m. Maybe he was tired.

Anyway, I don't really care that much. The only time anyone ever discusses a player's interview demeanour as if it matters is right before the draft.

Haha - Ross and Satoransky are the same. Except on is a SG and the other is a combo. Like Satoransky more and more now. Ross was not that impressive in terms of wingspan.
