Tyreke Evans!!!!

Post#1 » by gqbredrin » Sat Jun 9, 2012 12:31 pm

Apparently, the Kings aren't looking to extend Tyreke Evan's contract. This in turn leaves me to speculate that they may be looking to remove him. If i were Riley, i would consider trading for this guy.
1. Would Tyreke's style of play fit that of the Heat?
2. Who would you trade for him?
IMO, i would do an Evans for Chalmers swap(highly unlikely) . An Evans,Wade, Bron @ the 123 would be too much to keep up with(on paper). Evans would need to limit himself to fastbreak buckets or learn to shoot the spot up three or force the man to chase him. But he is an improvement over Chalmers. He is bigger, stronger, has a better motor, finishes, has more potential @ 22 and can defend 3 positions. He could force the tempo, but his passing ability would NEED to improve if he, James and Wade play together.

What do you guys think?

Evans is great but a pipe dream.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

There is nooo way we sign him, and I don't think Sac wants anything we have out of the Big 3.

I don't think his play really fits the Heat's style. His jump shot is broken and he's regressed highly. He needs shooters around him.

Wade for Tyreke, Jason Thompson, and the 5th pick, and I'm down.

we're not in rebuilding mode. And if we were, no **** way to Tyreke Evans.

Dude is quick. But I'm tired of these young guys being lightning fast and can't shoot for crap.

Wade was once like that but he did develop a jumpshot... it's just not there anymore after his surgeries.

I've seen Westbrook go off from the outside. When he has his jumper going, he's unstoppable.

But Wall.... LOL.

I would give up anyone outside of the Big 3. The only problem is that the Kings have a say in whether a trade goes through.

Don't think we have the pieces.

If he's willing to accept 6th man off the bench I wouldn't mind.

HELL NO!

Tyreke is one of the worst shooters in the league. That's not an understatement. He shoots as bad as post-ASG Norris Cole, and he shoots a lot more than him. **** that ****. Tyreke is in no way, shape or form a good fit for this team. He's not a good fit on any team until he fixes his jumpshot, because unlike Rondo and young Kidd, he isn't a good enough PG in other areas to overcome the suck of his offense. Plus, he probably spaces the floor poorly. PEACE.

Evans fits in with the athleticism but he can't shoot at all. Plus we can't sign him and we have nothing to trade for him.
