Didn't Cho draft Russell Westbrook? He was not a "safe pick". He swung for the fences on a flashy, athletic, somewhat-raw prospect and it worked wonders for OKC.

Whatever Cho decides is right for the franchise, I'll go along with it (unless he goes out of his way to pick Sullinger or Barnes at #2). OKC wouldn't be a title contender without Cho building that roster. Everyone thought he was nuts drafting RW that early and it worked wonders. I expect him to swing for the fences and pick up Drummond or MKG.

Bismack was definitely a Cho pick so it's safe to say that Cho will swing for the fences if he thinks he'll make contact. MJ's attracted to guys with "swag" which would probably be MKG. Higgins, god only knows what that fool is thinking about. Probably wants to draft Henson and trade him to GS for Dorell Wright and Nate Robinson.

If Westbrook had Beals stroke to go along with his athleticism he would be impossible to stop.

Hes almost impossible to stop as it is.

If we were to draft Barnes at 2 I would be pretty upset, but not nearly as upset as I would be if we drafted Sullinger. Id probably fly off the handles.

Still a nice stroke though. Surely he will improve on that percentage.

Im not a big proponent on drafting him anyhow.

Yeah. I wouldn't even mind the 33.9 if it wasn't at the college level when he's even closer to the line and isn't being defended by a 6'6" SG.

By that article and saying we need scoring it sounds like they think Beal is our guy too.

article also says its usually not hard to find an 18-20ppg scorer.

Needs Work:
The Bobcats need buckets. Scoring is in short supply for a squad that was dead-last in the league and struggled to break 80 points most nights. It's usually not that hard to find somebody to average 18-20 a game, even for a losing team, but the Bobcats are still searching.

who else watched the top 10 plays? biz with #1.

I think Lou Williams would average 18-20 for us as a starter. We're that bad on offense.

Yeah, when I read that Hendo was our leading scorer with 15 ppg I was like "Yikes." Then I read that Biz was our leading rebounder with 5.8 rebounds.

Yeah, we need rebounding and defense way worse than shooting. What's the point of scoring 100 pts a game, we'd just end up giving up 120.

This pick is either T-Rob or Drummond. If Cho can find a way to trade down for something like 6 + 11 or 4 +24 and still get one of those guys then he'll look genius. I hope it's Drummond either way.

the 5.8 is bad, but that's not with 36 minutes. No one on our team taller than 6'7" got enough minutes to get #s

That's largely b/c they all rebounded and defended so poorly that Silas kept subbing in other guys trying to stop the bleeding. We can't trot out a frontcourt of Biz, Mullens, DJ White, Tyrus and Diop and not expect to get slaughtered. I don't care if Beal or MKG are the second coming, we're getting embarrassed next season too if we don't upgrade our frontcourt significantly.

I agree but I don't see us being very active in free agency. If we get a nonbig with our top pick (where ever that may be) I hope we pick up someone like Fetus with 31. Big, strong, will be a good backup for years.

It will be way easier to draft a scorer with our second rounder than a productive big. I'm not even sure Festus will drop that far.

The more I read about these players, the more I want to trade for multiple picks.

That is true and all the more reason to draft Beal and add another 18-20 ppg scorer in FA.

I'm sure Sam Vincent has advised our FO to run the equivalent of his old 24 second shot clock violation play.
