Celtics blew their chance. Saturday is going to be a blowout in South Beach.

Yep, the Celts had a great run. Bron vs Durant showdown, Stern will be very happy.

So I guess Lebron is clutch now because of his performance last night.

And oh yeah, the Celtics -- who after game 5 were being lionized for their veteran toughness and will to win -- are now showing their age.

Also, Spoelstra is a good coach again.

 Sports journalism at its best. Amazing how ESPN is now licking their chops and crowning MIA the ECF Champions as if the series was over last night.

the best way for the Heat to win is for them to get a big lead early and try to sustain it. They are a front running team that is very so-so in tight games.

the thing about playing at home in game 7 is that the longer the game
stays close, the more the pressure switches onto the home team.

what was LeTrav's PER last night? 50? 60? It had to be insanely high.
Still can't like him.

Lebron's critics like to complain about how he passes up or misses last-second shots...in games in Feb. and March. In the two most important games for the Heat thus far this season--the fourth game against Indy when Miami was down 2-1 and last night--King James has been HUGE.

It's funny -- I am not a Lebron fan by any stretch, but the criticism has gone so over the top preposterously stupid that I find myself pulling for him to succeed so that the anti-Lebron screamers with just shut up.

Can we have our cake and eat it too? LeBron scores 50 and puts the Heat in position to win with a clutch 3 in the last minute, but after Miami gets the ball back, Wade drives to the basket, flops, and cries to the official while his man streaks downcourt for the winning layup?

Yeah, that'd be awesome.

Might be fun, but I guarantee the next morning some schmuck will be on the radio saying that Wade's behavior reveals Lebron's lack of leadership. After all, Jordan and Kobe would never have permitted such behavior from a teammate.

You know I'm right. :)

You may be right, but I really don't think you should use that kind of language for a Wizards legend like Tim Legler....

OK, yeah, you're definitely right.

Hey, Legler would know -- he and Jordan wore the same number.

I don't think anyone has any idea what to expect for the game tonight. Boston regularly takes off playoff games, but LeBron rarely has a performance like the last one. I hope its close, but really, I have no idea what to expect.

I can't imagine Boston winning unless the calls go their way. I don't see it happening in Miami or with the OKC/MIA matchup looming.

Miami will win comfortably IMO.

Fun first half, except that the Heat played like garbage. They're still in it, though. This is still anyone's game.

The 2nd half should be epic.

Heat won the game and looked great doing so...but Boston deserved to lose the game. What were they thinking playing Bass on James?? I just don't understand why he was pressuring James out beyond the 3 point line. Pierce had decent stats, but when his team needed someone to step up he shrinked in the moment. Very reminicent of game 7 2010 finals.

Pierce didn't "shrink in the moment."

With age and the injuries he's nursing he's no longer able to consistently rise to the occasion.

It is what it is....

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Thunder v Heat hey........

is this the first time two 'singular' nicknamed teams have met in the finals?

i think OKC can do it. if they play like they did against the spurs the heat are toast.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I don't think there's a single lineup capable of keeping westbrook out of the lane. He's my early vote for finals MVP.
