Okay.....With the 18th pick in the fourth round of the RealGMDraft Phoenix Suns and EITS select
F/G GORDON HAYWARD
Image

Not since Dan Majerle has Phoenix had a player at the small forward position with the moxie and fearlessness of Gordon Hayward. This kid can take and make big shots, he plays team basketball, and is a terrific defender. More importantly he's a high character young man and that is what i'm trying to build in Phoenix. I want high character players on this team that want to get better and want to win.
Very happy Hayward was still available...Had a third round grade on him and got in the fourth.

The New Orleans Hornets select Gerald Henderson.

Management is thrilled to select Gerald Henderson here. It's not because he put up impressive numbers on an historically bad team. It's because he is continuously growing as a player, improving all aspects of his game. Most impressively he played his best ball at the end of year. At a point when his teammates seemed resigned to achieve an ignominious place in the record books, Henderson played with skill, hustle and heart. Seemingly the only player on the team with enough pride to believe that he didn't belong on a team with the worst winning percentage in NBA history. Very few players have that kind of winning mentality. Coupled with his explosive offensive game and potential to be a real defensive stopper, we feel that we got a real steal at this point in the draft.

Hill took over the starting job in indiana for collison, and outplayed him and never gave it back. He played very well in the playoffs.. he can hit the 3, and is a VERY good defender who can guard pg's and sg's

we like his ability to hit the outside shot to keep the floor spread for harden and the bigs...

we like our spacing so far... lopez can score from 10 feet away with a little midrange jumper, as well as in the post, and pekovic is a beast in the post.. harden can score from anywhere, and hill is good going to the basket and spotting up from 3

Yeah, Collison is the better player though imo ;)

lol i disagree.. hill is a better shooter and defender :D
