Krazy SixersD you keep saying over and over that Lamb is great and he's Richard Hamilton all over again but you aren't realizing that he's not going to be there for us to take at 15.. I'm speaking in terms of the 15th pick in this draft. Not whos better.

I'm fine letting Lou walk, i'm fine trading Turner and Young for Al Jefferson and i'm fine going into the season with
Jrue Holiday
Austin Rivers/Jodie Meeks
Andre Iguodala
Elton Brand/Lavoy Allen
Al Jefferson/Nik Vucevic

I may be of the minority but I think Rivers is going to be a great guard in the league and I see him as someone who can come in and play right away.

Rivers isnt that good and certainly isnt NBA ready. I watched a majority of Duke's game last year and at times he was invisible and Coach K even gave the kid the greenlight on offense. He shot 65% from the FT line and had more turnovers than assists. Does that sound like a kid who will step right in and contribute against NBA level comp?? He has the potential to be a very good shooter however, but hes still a project at any position in the NBA.

Don't forget he just changed his shooting form last off-season. You can see he was not yet comfortable with his new form and sometimes reverted back to his old form. Jumpshot improves with repetition. Give him one more year and see how he does.

I noticed he did go back to his old form but we can't wait another year this is a big off season for us. Either iggy or ET has to go.

I'm a UNC fan I watched alot of ACC games, Rivers was an out of control gunner early in the season but he did get better as the season went on. Austin and Seth Curry had to do all the scoring with no point guard and no real big man who could score. He crazy range with his jumper but he has to work on taking good shots. I think he can do good in the NBA because he can shoot and most teams dont play defense so those open shots he gets he will make them also he has good handle to drive by u. I really think if he's there at 15 the 76ers will take him we have alot of connections with duke plus he fits a need. I also love the fact that his dad doc rivers can work with him each summer

No Rivers in Philly without a complete roster shakeup.

That would be a complete shakeup...love Doc, but he's shine will be dulled without the "big 4"... Maybe he can give ET a jumper??? :)

+1

IMO, it would be a bad decision to pass up Perry Jones, Terrence Jones and Leonard over Rivers.

Rivers is undersized at the SG position. He's got standing reach comparable to Darren Collison and Stephen Curry. He's that small.

You want a shooter? Go get Steve Novak. You want to make the most out of that 15th pick? Go draft someone else.

Looks like Rivers has a lottery promise so we can quit worrying ourselves with him.

Yeah he's got a lotto promise so you can all quit soiling your pants over the idea of him. I'm sure we will go ahead and draft Fab Melo and you all will be happy.

Sixerfan, is there any interest in Dion Waiters? Someone made him a promise & it could be part of a draft day trade.

I will explode with rage and anger if we trade up to draft Dion Waiters in this draft.

My guess is that the Raps promised him despite what Brian Colangelo said at the combine.

I think your right because Brian Colangelo, did a live interview during the NBA combine he talked in circles about not trading the pick then saying he wanted a proven SF. That iggy trade rumor was true.

Looks like Rivers won't be there at 15 at Leonard has move up into the 9-13 range. I think Jared Sullinger is there pick I would happy he is a top 5 talent and arguably the best basketball in College the last couple of years. Good rebounder, can score down low, started to add range to his jumpshot this past season he's 6'7 so he's gonna have to take bigger pf's away the basket kinda like what Kevin Love has done who knows we might be gettin the next kevin love

It would be great if Sullinger slips that far. But I just can't believe he will drop to 15. He will impress someone in workouts and be long gone by the time we pick.

If we had said from game 1 that Evan you are the starter and never screwed around with him that would be one thing. But the way they handled him this year going back and forth as a starter and bench player was horrible. You don't trade him now when you really have no idea how good he can or can't be.

Same crap happened to Jrue. This team is far from being a contender. But the coaches and managment think that winning half the games will energize this fan base . If you draft a player this high. Let him play 30 minutes a game and develop. Collins is already screwing up Vucevic. I mean is DC telling us that Vucevic isn't as good as Hawes?

How did the same thing happen to Jrue? He has been given the keys, he just has not developed as quickly as people would like,

DC would take Jrue out at the end of games and also would run the offense through Iggy. Never giving Jrue a chance. DC does not develop players. He has done nothing for Jrue and will certainly hold back Turner. Just the idea of playing Jodie Meeks ahead of Turner is just na example of stupid DC is.

Doc Rivers has never been a good coach until he got Ray Allen, KG, and a great PG. When he was with Orlando he no idea how to win with Tracy McGrady. I am not a big DC fan. But Doc Rivers is not any better.
