Why is he in the ECF still changing his starting lineups? Why is he still playing LJ 45 mins like he's super man? The man needs rest!! Why he did not play Chris Bosh more minutes when he had it going? If he get's hurt again he get's hurt!! He's not making good decisions right now.

Lol, Bosh didn't have anything going. He was -12 and was giving up open lanes ans passing up jumpers.

I first said that in December 2010.
I was surprised the Heat reached the finals last season and seeing as they lost anyway, I'd rather they got eliminated in the 2nd round, forcing Riley to fire Spoelstra.

I can't believe people are saying because Bosh was -12, it was okay to only play him 14 minutes. I look at plus minus stats, but do you guys remember UD was what, -10 in Game 2 in the Chicago series? He sucked in that game huh? NO HE DIDN'T. He was in when they made a run, but there are 4 other people on the court too -_-
Yes, the C's went on a run when Bosh was out there.
But Bosh wasn't the ONLY one out there. Now the defense sucked. But we never played Joel or Turiaf either.
Bosh was getting rebounds (kept getting the same ball over and over, so its a bit inflated). But Bosh was playing well. AND HE IS OUR BEST FT SHOOTER TOO.

Let's be real. Pat ain't got no problem firing someone who isn't up to the job. PEACE.
I don't think Riley dumped Stan at all! Stan just got tired of Shaq and his BS!!! Remember when Shaq came back in the 05-06 season after the ankle injury Stan didn't start him. The next game he re-signed... Spo however is Riley's pet project, so much so that he didn't even interview Keith Askins or Bob McAddo! I know that for a fact. Riley has loyalty issues just like he had with that 05-06 team! He had trades that should've been made during that season and he had trades and cuts that should've been made after that season that he didn't make. Spo is still here because of reasons other than his coaching... Believe that!!!
Shaq severed ties with the Heat when he left, but he took no half measures when it came to getting what he wanted. He put Riley in a situation where he absolutely had to take over, and he didn't care about how the public might perceive him. And it ended up being a move that led to a championship as the newly assembled roster with a bunch of clashing egos became united and focused under Riley for that one year. Players with big egos want to be led by coaches with a proven track record.
For all the talent that a team might assemble, it seems like it's always coaches like Riley, Popovich, or Phil Jackson who end up leading players to championships as opposed to coaches like Spoelstra who are still in the process of learning the ropes. At least, that is the type of effect Phil Jackson appeared to have as he seemed to provide the extra little guidance that got the Bulls and then the Lakers to start taking full advantage of their talent.
I've held off on the Spoelstra bashing as I accepted that he is around for the long haul, but I still wish that bump by Lebron had led to more. Oh well. Its only two wasted seasons, unless the Heat avoid a repeat of last season where they appeared to just completely fall apart after the opposition figured them out.

All I know is last night I saw Wade drive to the basket in the 4th and he got cut off so he had to pass it out to an OPEN James Jones who hit the 3 & waltzed back down the court with an expression of "I do this all the time no big deal" Apparently it was no big deal cause they never went back to him. No play was drawn for him and his entire time on the floor was wasted. The only other times he had a chance to shoot it was when he caught the ball fully covered with the shot clock winding down and when he just happens to have the ball thrown to him when all other options are covered.
Until this coach figures out how to design plays to get his shooters shooting opportunities we will continue to struggle. Also, small ball is a move of desperation as Turiaf, Anthony, Pittman, Howard ugh & now Bosh for whom it wouldn't be fair to him to play him more minutes in a meaningless game, sit & rot for Haslem.
Oh & coach, how many times do the Celtics have to score in transition after we make a basket to realize that- that is a strategy that was carefully being planned out & executed by the rival coach?

Norris Cole needs increased minutes to pressure the ball full court to slow down the advance of the ball. Right now, his energy level is at Level 10 compared to the others who are at Level 6.

If we don't win and if Spo gets fired (niether of which I accept) it'll be depressing to see who you all blame for us NOT winning it next year too.

Sadly not.
I was with the Heat before he became a paper clip boy and I'll be staying long after he's moved on.
Before I championed him I was found championing the other players that were victimised by a fickle Miami fan group.
How is EJ these days?

And hopefully Riles hires a real coach this time around & not an apprentice unless it's the Spurs Head Assistant.

I absolutely hate our defensive schemes even more this series because we're barely making them turn the ball over. How many points are we getting from transition points?
We do this trapping/overhelping sh*t the ENTIRE game, this totally wears our players down.
Maybe that's why every role players start sucking once they come and play for Miami. THEY DON'T HAVE LEGS. FATIGED.
It's good to trap/overhelp for some stretch of games, but don't DO IT FOR 48 FCKING MINUTES DAMMIT. ESPECIALLLY AGAINST A GREAT TEAM WITH A GOOD BALL MOVEMENT.
We only get exposed when a team can move the ball and pass well. Other than that, we are home free.
Offensively, either it is points off turnovers or Wade and James go off for 60 combined (80+ with Bosh) in strictly iso ball or high pick and rolls with no one else moving. As long as teams don't figure this out and deny the paint, we are home free cruising to a chip with our coach of the year candidate.

Props to Spo! Second time in a row in the Finals, I don't care what you all say, he's a good coach. Given his little experience he's even an exceptional coach. Now get this ring and learn how to draw some plays out of timeouts.

I'm still not a fan of Spo. But I love the fact that he notice that Mike Miller wasn't hitting the J and benched him. He took way to long to notice Haslem on KG one on one was a mismatch but in the 4th he put Bosh on the back side of the fronting man and it paid off.

Way to ride the talent and not strategically cripple the team, Spo.

These players really deserve to win it all. History will never give them full credit for all they had to overcome.
