Just cause he shot poorly for like 20 shots doesn't mean he should fall that far. HE measured at 6'6 and I heard he recorded the fastest sprint time so if anything he should move up the mock drafts.

Wroten shot horrible for his entire season (ncaa career), not just for "20 shots".

exactly, why did his stock fall? Didn't people already know his shot was bad?

I think he has the athleticism to do so. I would be incredible value for us if he fell that far. Even if he couldn't play SF I would still pick him. Why is he falling, I think he's a top 8 talent in this class. btw how do you quote somebody?

The NBA people did know. The people that create the mocks that you/we base our stock off of are just now catching up to the real decision makers.

We can't assume his "value" was ever as high as was being reported by these non-nba personel.

jones at 19 would be a steal. could backup sf and pf and instantly contribute for us.

Chances we can get Marshall & Miller? Move up to get Marshall and buy into the draft late in the 1st to hopefully get Miller? I know things change with the new CBA, but not sure of what specifically changed in regard to the draft & getting additional pick(s).

Would love to bring Rivers back home. I think he was playing the role coach k wanted him to. Coach K doesnt seem like the type to tolerate bs. If rivers really was as immature or selfish as some would lead us to believe i dont think coach k would have put him on the floor. I think he could play a harden role in orl.

I would die of joy if we came away with Perry Jones III at the #19 pick.

I would take this kid with no questions asked and run at #19. His motor has been the only real thing in question. But his actual game doesn't have that many holes in it. Can play a legit SF/PF and possibly C. Has star athleticism at that size.

Naturally at home on the wing but should be able to exel at either the SF or PF spots. I would take him over Quincy Miller without doubt. Has the same positives in his game that Quincy has or is said to have (length, ball handling, range for height), but also has the things Quincy doesn't have and cant be taught (athlete, speed/quickness) Too talented to pass on.

Pery Jones III 6'11.5" 234 (20 yrs old) SF/PF

I have been hoping that Perry would slip to us and been thinking about it with all these guys getting promise's and stuff. I still think he goes top 12 just based on his pure potential which is out of the roof but if he feel I would be beyond happy. I have been a fan of both Baylor and Perry for a long time and I never played against him but I did see him play a couple times at Duncanville.

I think this would solve our problems on the wing because Perry is a 6'11.25" small forward with a 7'1.25" wingspan. I know at Baylor he really didn't show off a lot of his true talent, but this was mostly due to Baylors system and the fact that it was more of a team play. Perry can drive, shoot, and block shots. Although I due question if he can stay with NBA 3's, but he will have the length to mess with them and with Dwight we are still good. I truly don't think Perry will last to our pick but I will hope he does because we always see someone slip and Perry could be that guy this year.
