Congrats from a Celts fan

I knew we were a good matchup on you, and probably have more heart. Certainly better coaching, although Spo finally made some adjustments after Game 5.

But your guys are the better team and played like it the last two games. Proud that my team could push you the way they did.

If Bosh is back, and you play like you did at the end of this series, I think you will pound them into fine powder. Be rooting for you.

Yeah, as a Celtics fan, I felt this odd sensation going through me at the end of this game, and it wasn't gas. It was a strange, somewhat repulsive realization, a foul yet inevitable stench that seemed to fill the air around me, and it was honestly, ****** terrible when I tried to fight it.

So I stopped.

Obviously it doesn't mean much to you guys, but, it was finally there after last year's debacle in the Finals. Grudging Respect. The Heat finally showed the mental toughness that can make them champions. I don't know if they'll do it. I don't know if I want them to do it.

But for the first time this year, I think they can. And well, I think they will.

Your team is the reason our Big 3 are even together in the first place so for that I am extremely thankful. You guys had an amazing run these past 5 years and made the NBA really fun to watch again. I personally don't like Rondo, KG, and Pierce but overall you guys have an amazing coach and an awesome organization. Your team really played like champions out there in this series and I'm sure it won't be long for your team to become relevant again.

My hats off to you guys as well.

Have more heart yet lost back to back series to us and blew 3-2 lead against a team missing a 19/8 6-11 all star. Miami bounced back from 1-2 to the Pacers with no Bosh and 2-3 to the Celtics with Bosh out basically all series. Don't talk to us about the celtics having more heart! Can't stand back handed compliments..

We tore your hearts out and fed them to you raw.

but your team put up a fight, it'll be interesting to see if the Celtics are finished now and which parts they keep for next season. Real interesting off-season for you.

O'Neal was a terible liability when he last played for us we would've welcomed him playing against us. Wilcox is just another stiff, Stiesma or Ryan Hollins are as good as. Green - let's talk about Celtics players. Bradley - oh the messiah - again he'll be shown for what he is next year - a non-lottery pick.

The total of those parts don't equal Bosh or Wade's gimpy knee alone.

As for Ray ray, he played himself back into great sgooting form during the series and Pierce was simply outclassed by Lebron - you have to accept that he's getting old.

Anyway who do you think leaves the Celtics this off-season?

Nothing backhanded about it. The Celts definitely have more heart, just nowhere near as young or athletic. On paper, shouldnt even have been a series. Be proud of beating them, because they are stone cold killers who outplayed you for most of that series. Anyone who thinks that is ripping out our hearts has a lot to learn about basketball, and life. LeBron was looking at losing to them for a 3rd time after Game 5, and he just wasn't having it. It was pretty impressive. Hope he/they/you keep it up. You'll need to, but will be worthy champs if so.

FWIW, the most injured team in this series was Chicago.

You couldn't beat us from 3:2 up with an injured Wade and Bosh.

Begone, your era is over.

only pain and fishing awaits you.

Don't take this the wrong way
I'm happy as hell that Boston wont be back together ...

So much bad blood between us. It's a rivalry built on hate more than mutual respect. It's pretty special to have my 3 most hated players on the same team. If the entire team fell into a well, Ray Allen is the only one I'd help out. It's the end of an era for the C's. There was a time when I really admired the level of basketball they played. At their best, that defense was incredible. It was so satisfying beating that Boston team, I'm going to miss it.

I said it all year long even though fans of a certain team did not like it. The Celtics gave us our toughest fight in the East last season and they did it again this year. No team in the East worries/worried me as much as them.

Saw quite a few Celtics fans saying your current teams legacy will be folding in Game 7 of the EC Finals/Finals. I don't agree with that. Nobody expected you guys to make the Finals in 2010. I remember most of us on here wanted to play the Celtics instead of the Hawks.

This year, again nobody expected your team to make it to this round. And when they did people said it'll be over in 5 or 6 max. 6 minutes left in Game 7, it was anybody's game. You took our squad to the limit.

You guys are champions. That run in 2008 was incredible, some series went the distance but it was absolute domination for the most part. The Big 3 experiment was a success for you. Paul, Ray, KG got their rings and in the process another star (Rondo) was born.

I can't say I like the C's but I respect them. If we lost I would have "cheered" you guys on in the Finals over OKC/San Antonio.

I loved that this Heat team had so many close fights with this team. We always steam roll over people and at times we've closed games out at the end, but we needed more of those tests. The Celtic's were the best team to do that against. Probably one of the best team's in the closing moments, which is why they got so far. So much clutchness.

I think the Celtics have another run in them honestly, just need role players who are healthy. But you guys did have tired legs at the end there. There's no way of fixing that really.

Btw don't trade Rondo, that's probably the dumbest thing I've seen on the Boston board. If this guy gets a reliable jumpshot, he can be unstoppable. He has the heart and can coordinate an offense. Without Rondo I don't think the C's get that far this year in the first place.

But good series. I also would have rooted for the Celtic's if they beat us. That run in 2008 is why LBJ/Wade/Bosh came together. One of the best team's I've ever seen.

I don't take kindly to compliments with an insult mixed in, saying a team has more heart then my team when Miami was down 2-3, everyone counted them out, and please do not compare guys u had out to Bosh being out. It sounds ridiculous.

J.Oneal... Really? Should I talk about Jwuan Howard not playing all series for crying out loud?

I always feel like I show up to late to these parties to comment, and in turn end up getting ignored lol.. But I feel like posting anyways, so here I go lol...

First, I can respect the OP's post up until the part where he said their team has more heart than ours. I agree with HeatFanSince87 when he said it was a back handed compliment. Now you Boston fans are certainly entitled to your own opinions, but we watch our team play night in and night out. We watch them play thru their ups and downs. We watch while the whole world scrutinizes them. We watch as they fight twice as hard to accomplish their goals and silence the doubters. So you cant expect to come here and say you guys have more heart than us and expect us to take that kindly despite all of your other compliments.

Now, I've always respected the new era Celtics since they were formed in 2008. They were an incredible team and have always played like champions. I've never been comfortable sitting through a Boston game because I always expect the best from them. Tremendous amount of respect for that team and orginization, eventhough I've come to hate nearly half their roster since 2010. I'm happy that we were the ones to end the Boston Big 3 era, it seems only right as we were modeled from their success. This championship will just be that much sweeter seeing how the road there was paved in Boston blood. Best of luck to Doc Rivers and Ray Allen!
My heart BIG... But it beat quiet

Thanks to the legit Heat fans for the respect without turning it into an argument about injuries - I'm hoping for a healthy, well-reffed finals.
