This is what the problem is for me personally. If i had never seen the kid play in a actual game, i would be head over heels for the kid. He looks AMAZING in workouts (and in HS against midget kids), but all the stuff i love about his ability, i have never seen him execute in a real game that matters. I didn't see the handle, i don't see the athletic ability.

Even Perry Jones, who is not known as much for handles and driving to the hole, showed flashes of it during games.

Perry Jones?

He sucked in college and probably doesn't even like basketball

Perry didn't suck in college, now he didn't live up to the hype or potential but he didn't suck in college. There are also no reports that he doesn't like basketball which is a little strange why a guy would play all his life but not like basketball.

Listen Perry, I know you're trying to improve your draft stock but you're just not very good at basketball.

Go away and leave us alone.

You aren't serious right?

And if you are, who would you rather have at that pick? IMO if jones falls that far we will be lucky to have him. The kid WILL be a star in a few years, and IMO in 5 years will be the best player from this draft, yes better than Davis, who will have an okafor type of career, not bad, but not the superstar everyone makes him out to be... Jones on the other hand, nearly 7 feet tall, with a handle, and range for height... And a solid 235, and long... You just can't teach that. And the skills are clearly there, he just needs to land in the right situation and I hope that's with us

Oh and say no to Marshall... I could average 10 assists if I never looked for my shot and played that many damn minutes...
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

The closer its getting to draft day, the higher this guy is getting on my list. At the moment hes in my top 4 (of realistic candidates) with K. Marshall, Him, Leonard and Teague (in that order)

Reminds me so much of anthony mason, which i know isnt a HOF type player, but a guy you win with and someone i think would be a great player to team with dwight

Holy hell we had a bad drsft in 05, pick frsn ahead of granger and diener a head of monta in the second round......smh..

Anyway back on topic. I'm starting to like royce a lot too very much a blue collar player. In terms of shooting seems like they all need to improve one way or another to some degree. I still like harkless and Taylor. Quncy is going to be a guy that coasts imo.

He and Jones have an amazing skill set for their size but miller does look slower than Jones not as big or athletic. I'd attempt a back flip if we got Perry jones.

Dave Twardzik i believe was the Assistant GM in 05...who's still here today....handling the draft stuff until the new GM arrives.....needless to say.....the new GM needs to get here quick....I don't want Dave Twardzik making the picks imho

Moe Harkless

If he gets a consistent jumper he will be one of the top 3 players from this draft. BOOK IT.

I love his versatility & his attitude, & well his game speaks for itself.

I still think the Magic should trade the #19 pick packaged with either of Duhon, Hedo or JRich ASAP for a 2nd rounder.

2nd ROUND SLEEPER ALERT. Not much talk about this guy (actually ZERO talk), & most mocks do not have him being selected, but if Dee Bost is there in the 2nd round I would love to take him.

If he goes undrafted he better be on our summer league roster because I think he can be a very nice player off the bench at the PG position.

Absolutely. This team doesn't need young talent. Why would management need to waste anytime drafting youth in a draft that is stacked?!? Idiots!

We need to get rid of Duhon and Hedo ASAP! They don't expire for another bajillion years, and Dwight is going to be REALLY xXANGRYXx by then!!!!! Then he'll NEVA EVA wanna resign with us and we'll suck for a GAZILLION years!!! Remember, NBC said he'd resign!!!!!

What we need to do is trade X player for X expiring contract, and then X player and X player for unattainable overrated 24 year old and then X, X, and X for Y, Y, Y, Y and 8 future firsts so we can have 80 million in cap space for 2013 and Dwight smiles!!!! Woooo GO MAGIC!!!

Another video of Dee Bost. Nothing spectacular, but he does some really good things & shows flashes. The guy has a great looking shot.
