Would you guys do it?

Then trade Kemba for a pick in the mid teens (get Sullinger, Leonard, P. Jones or Moultrie with it)

Absolutely not. Wouldn't even consider it for a second.

Looks like Philly is going to workout Drummond and could show interest in him. They pick at 15, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some rumors involving their possible interest in trading up to 2 in the coming days.

NBA Rumors ‏@NBARUMORS
According to a league source, Golden State, Charlotte, Toronto and Brooklyn have contacted the Grizzlies about the availability of Rudy Gay.

I still think, if we really wanted Gay, there is potential in a 3 team trade with Iggy/Turner going to Memphis, Gay coming to Charlotte along with 15 and 2 going to Philly. In my opinion that would honestly improve the Griz and would be a trade they should look at. For us, still not convinced.

If we did this, bet we could get both #15 from Philly and #25 from Memphis. Gay, #15, #25 and #31 could be a reasonable draft day for us.

I'd really like to get Tyreke from Sac somehow...if they're that in love with Barnes, at least.

i really liked the idea of #2, hendo and tyrus and for #5, tyreke and hayes (does that work?) not sure if the kings would go for it. they could have their pick of MKG or barnes, both are better fits for the kings than tyreke. ideally they would go for MKG at #2 and leave barnes at #5 (or someone else for us). i mention barnes because i think he would fit well next to tyreke. tyreke needs some shooters to space the floor for him to get to the rim.

as swedd mentioned, beal would even be a better fit next to tyreke. you could play those two at guard and basically they are interchangeable. move kemba to bench to back up both. three guard rotation of tyreke, beal and kemba. interesting.

would you rather have?

tyreke/kemba
beal/reggie
maggette/???
mullens/hayes
biyombo/???

or

kemba/???
tyreke/reggie
barnes/maggette
mullens/hayes
biyombo/???

i think i would prefer the first one.

Beal over Barnes any day of the week. At least we know he can defend. Barnes is going to have to stretch just to be an adequate defender. We can fill your holes during free agency. What do you think about this line up.

tyreke/kemba
beal/reggie
Crash/Magette
Jamison/hayes
biyombo/mullens

I would too. I don't think Kemba and Tyreke are a good fit as a starting duo. Kemba would be nice as a super 6th and I think he'd be best served in that role in the future anyway.

I'm afraid that would shortchange our rebuild. That team would possibly be good enough to make the playoffs. We'd have to rehire Sam Vincent to ensure we stay lottery bound.

I would definitely draft Drummond at #5 assuming he's still there and have this:

Kemba
Tyreke
Maggette
Biyombo
Drummond

congrats on having the worst shooting lineup in the history of basketball. you might want to have at least one player on the floor who can shoot from outside 15 feet. just sayin'

Yeah, that would be awesome. Someone needs to tell MKG to tell the media that he will own LeBron when he gets into the NBA.

Yeah, we'd be able to build everyone in Charlotte a new house with all the bricks that lineup would put up.

Felton is the backup PG in my scenario too, does that help us?

I can't say this any stronger:

The Bobcats REALLY need to trade that pick!

Robinson won't work, Drummond would be toxic, Beal is overrated.

Trade the pick to a team that is in love with Drummond.

I'd trade the #2 pick plus any player on the roster except Biyombo (even Kemba Walker) for Portland's 6 and 11.

Maybe with the addition of Walker, Portland might even take back Tyrus Thomas as well in exchange for Matthews.

I haven't given it deep thought but:

#2, Walker, and Thomas

for

#6, #11, and Matthews

With 6 and 11, I draft Sullinger and Rivers.

Guess that means they think Beal is going 4th and drummond sixth. I hope we mess up their plans somehow
