So we have a bunch of wings who are all some combination of undersized, out of possition, can't hit open shots, can't draw fouls, can't hit free throws, and can't play defense. So why are we so against Maggette??? Rick has done wonders with Bonzi Wells and Metta World and Maggette isn't even crazy on the level of those 2.

I wouldn't mind garbage for Maggette. Darko's buyout + Webster for Mags works for me.
He's Beasley off the bench...except efficient :)

Maggette would be a last resort. You don't target players like him, but if the team strikes out on literally every other option then I could understand a Maggette trade.

The only deal for Maggete I can stomach is Darko, Wes and Miller's corpse of a contract.

"Maggette" and "improve our team" should never be put in the same paragraph, let alone sentence.

While we're at it, why not discuss trading for/signing Drew Gooden???

What about Frye for Milicic?
Frye is on a pretty hefty long term contract and not the defender many want to see behind Love & Pek but he can play 2 positions and is big enough to guard centers. But what's most important he looks like a big that our coach would actually play. Adelman seems to value offense over defense when it comes to his bigs. I just don't see him playing guys like Hill, Sanders who are a just athletes but lack smarts and skills. Our own AR has some skills on top of his athleticism but lacks smarts and look where he ended up with Adelman.

If terrence Ross is at 18. We should lock him up. He should be a good defender and post-up three shooter. His height and low body weight would allow him to play SG. Unfortunate about his wingspan though. Jeremy Lamb draft numbers are close to kobe (6'11 wingspan 6'5 body). He is only SG with elite athleticism this year.

Chuck Hayes?

He didn't have much of a choice. It was either him or J.Hill. Chuck is actually a smart player, not a bad passer of the ball.

JJ Barea: "I'm always going to be a trade asset. From now on I'm going to be a trade asset because of what I've done in the NBA, and because of where I am. If they need someone in another position they're going to trade me. Then if it's a good team I would like it to happen. But I'm happy in Minnesota and I would like to lead them to the playoffs. Sometimes it's good that other teams want you too".

I'm on a Rodney Stuckey high again. Think the Pistons would consider something like Williams/18 for Stuckey/9? We would, right?

If that guy could shoot he would be a fantastic fit but he can't. But again if he could shoot he would not be available for trade.

If you're on a Rodney Stuckey high you need to stop sniffing that glue
