Goood Lord, someone talk to Dwyane. Just one stupid shot after another. Stop the pouting over crappy no-calls, get pissed and take it out on them.

No more of this Bosh off the bench ****. Get him engaged early on.

I love Miller's effort in trying to grit it out, but if he can't move, he's not going to help us against this team. Get JJ in there. Need more Joel too (I can't believe I wrote that).

Why in God's name do we always have an extended stretch where we forget what ball movement is?

Tell us something we don't know. I've seen coaches win finals games with their bench players in the 4th quarter ala Doc rivers 2010 finals. This coach has no faith in his bench.

Wade can't play 40+ minutes anymore

Everyone needs to realize that

Whether it's because of an injury, decline, age, him not liking the second role, he can only give us a short burst of quality minutes

He needs to come off the bench plan and simple

Rio is playing well and can get more touches
Bosh needs to start

We need to also play a goddamn center

Where was Cole?

It take effort and alot of energy to consistently execute crisp offensive sets and get good shots. Continually breaking off plays, when you can't buy a perimeter shot(Wade)? Won't bode well for you. Got to credit OKC though, they brought it the second half.

Durant was the best player on the court. And Westbrook was the 3rd. No bueno.

Let's get game 2.

wade killed the rhythm of the team and mainly lebron's. during an interval, he used all the balls, without bothering to pass any of his teammates. we couldn't find a way to stop extra points by collison, sefolosha and perkins. our main focus should be on defence. they also outplayed us in the defensive end.

we should play smartly in the offense too. bosh, wade and in the beginning of the game lebron have bad shooting choices. this is the nba finals and every possesion counts. we should be aware of this fact and have more clever choices.

game 2 will be the key. we won two 2 key games away in the playoffs, hopefully we would do it again. if not, series finish 4-2 or 4-1 for okc. if yes, the opposite for us.

The pattern as I see it is, we start very well, opponent adjusts, we don't - hate to blame the COACH, but please tell me why we- never mind - Cedric(x-heat player) just texted me and said, we never adjust on defense to what the opponent does, we rely on ,ore effort of the same thing.e

I've just given up on hoping for him to put on a vintage Wade performance for an entire game, since it seems it just isn't going to happen. I'm just satisfied if he doesn't turn the ball over too much, and doesn't take away shot attempts from his teammates with his long fade away twos or threes. The most I hope from Wade, at this point, is to just serve as some sort of a decoy the way Shaq did during the 2006 finals, while reducing hurting his team.

It isn't even Wade missing shots that bothers me. It's the fact that his decision making seems to have regressed so much when my favorite thing about him in the past was how he had great shot selection.

I've probably sounded like a Wade hater but this is exactly how I feel. Wade should become a decoy of some sort. I really don't understand the jumpers he took in the 3rd quarter.

That said, its only game 1.

We were dunking and throwing alley-oops on Dallas in game 1 last year.

FFS THIS THIS THIS. WHY ISN'T ANYONE ELSE TALKING ABOUT THIS? WE ALSO NEED COLE TO DEFEND WESTBROOK FOR STRETCHES AND MAYBE JJ WHEN MILLER IS COLD.

I really don't understand what the hell happened to his jumper. He insists on fading back on most of his jumpers. He never goes straight up anymore unless it happens to be a three, which he should never be taking anyways unless he really has his midrange going.

This is true....shame he never developed a consistent jumper because he was so good driving to the rim

Nothing I saw tonight indicates that the Heat can't win in OKC.

Wade is either hurt or old. Does not look like old Wade.
But to say he didn't try is pure BS. Wade attacked and he did not get the call.
Westbrook and Durant got all the tic tac in that 3rd that got them back.
Wade and Lebron were just not getting the call up until the OKC was ahead.

Got a love the NBA.

I know the 2-3-2 format favors the Heat, but they have to win Game 2.It's crucial that they split these first 2 games.

btw playing a young team, and SPO plays only 7 players?

while a healthy JJ, Joel, Cole sit on the bench - ridiculous - it's Lebron/Wade and a little Bosh for this COACH.

Heat needs to push the ball more. Bosh camping at the 3 was just bad coaching.

It isn't going to happen, not sure why you keep repeating it when Spo won't do that.

I cant believe we let that game go to waste..Battier kept us in there early and Wade is bad again. My goodness Westbrook is a playing better than him right now. Bosh is a liability defensively and cant believe the players went away from the pick and rolls.

Return to Miami Heat
