Too many situational players, not enough balanced scoring

Bosh has to play better defense, and rebound. Wade has to play better defense, and rebound. Heat also needs to push the ball more. Too much walking the ball.

Lebron can defend him. Problem is that Westbrook was making everyone his Bi*** as soon as Lebron was taken off him. What we going to do? Lebron can't guard the whole team.

Westbrook and Durant exploded in the 2nd half, mainly Westbrook.

The only player he can guard on the Thunder is Fisher and maybe Thabo. He can't stay with any of their big 3 guys at all.

The problem is they know we switch so easily so they make us switch to get whatever matchup they want.

I don't expect him to make any defensive stops, but if he can't hit an open 3 than there's no reason why he should take up minutes better reserved for Anthony and JJ.

Did you guys see Fisher make a lay up on Wade?

The not washed up version of Wade would have left Fisher with a Spalding imprint on his ugly a** head.

There was another where he tried to crossover Fisher and then missed a closer bank shot.

That's when I knew we're screwed.

FlashKing wrote:Why didn't Norris Cole play tonight? he played well in the Boston series and gave Rondo problems at times. he's a good defender and is just as quick as Westbrook. not saying that he would have stopped him, but maybe he could have gotten a few crucial stops in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

That would mean having a coach who trusts his bench.

Bosh used to be a first option in the past, so he is capable of doing a lot more than being a jump shooter. I'd like to see him become the second option on the team as opposed to always being an after thought.

Why LeBron wasnt on him is just silly.

And if he was too tired to guard him. Then I blame Spo for playing him 47 mins.

There definitley was a stretch there were the Heat had a 10-12 point lead early where James could of gotten a legitimate rest.
Enjoy every sandwich.

Understandable...

But LeBron has to STOP THE BLEEDING. The Bleeding was Durant. I'd play Westbrook like he's Rondo. I'd let him shoot all game. Durant is the guy who can kill the Heat.

Thats either on LeBron or Spo.

Mostly Spo. Because he should have adjusted and HAS to realize LeBron cant play 47 minutes like that.

Against a rested Thunder team. LeBron's last 3 games (mins) 45, 48, 47. I mean C'mon Spo. Put James Jones out there a little bit when you got a big lead, smh.

We really only played like 6 guys (Miller played 10 mins including some garbage time). Our guys were tired at the end. They played 8 guys so the fresh legs of people like Collison was getting every loose ball

Joel needs to play and Lebron needs to cover Durant. Wade is playing like ass, at least shut down Westbrook if you're not shooting well.

Finally somebody who gets it. If Spo keeps being stubborn with his rotations, we're screwed.

and RIGHT NOW, he is bringing nothing to this series, need to try something else. I can;t understand a noticeably injured player(Miller) gets more playing time than an uninjured(JJ) - don't care about defense, cause in this system it really doesn't matter, tonight we needed OFFENSE.

Problem with Wade isn't just his limited play. He's shown, repeatedly, that he can drive to the basket.

Wade's problem is decision-making. He's just choosing bad shots. He's jacking jumpshots instead of passing to open teammates. He's still whining to refs instead of sprinting back on defense. He's just not playing smart, when we know he can.

I haven't really seen any limitations on his ability to drive when he has actually chosen to do so. Unless it's just somehow really painful to drive, he seems to be just choosing to settle for the simple jumpshot. There's nothing really good about that, he's not a good jump shooter, that was true before his possible injury. If he wants to be helpful, kick it to other guys, or just don't shoot as much. Shooting jump shots, especially fade away deep 2's and 3's, is never going to be a winning strategy. It only hurts us.
