Everyone needs to realize that

Whether it's because of an injury, decline, age, him not liking the second role, he can only give us a short burst of quality minutes

He needs to come off the bench plan and simple

Rio is playing well and can get more touches
Bosh needs to start

We need to also play a goddamn center

Where was Cole?

Our coach doesn't trust bench players even if its for just 2 minutes smh. Wade is only 30 so i think he might be hurt especially in a shortened season like this one.

If our coach cannot trust our bench, then he is not a HEAD COACH, he is just a coach of the star players...PERIOD! - That's just total BULLSH@T - not you Sir, the idea.

That's exactly our problem. A reporter just asked him about that and he completely looked foolish trying to answer,

You guys can still win the series. After 06' and last year, I know better than to put too much stock over game 1. It seems like you need to do a better job of stopping penetration and defending the rim, which means Bosh needs to play with more of a tenacity like Haslem. Plus, you have win the half court battle, because the Thunder are the only team in the league which can play faster than you.

Time for Lebron to go Orlando 2009 mode, 40/8/8 a game and because Wade is clearly not returning to form anytime soon.

yet he gets no points for his effort without complaining, doing what he can, I am tired of people blaming the same people - we played 7 guys against a young team...I just don't understand trying to win with the same guys on offense every game.

Too many situational players, not enough balanced scoring

Problem with Wade isn't just his limited play. He's shown, repeatedly, that he can drive to the basket.

Wade's problem is decision-making. He's just choosing bad shots. He's jacking jumpshots instead of passing to open teammates. He's still whining to refs instead of sprinting back on defense. He's just not playing smart, when we know he can.

I haven't really seen any limitations on his ability to drive when he has actually chosen to do so. Unless it's just somehow really painful to drive, he seems to be just choosing to settle for the simple jumpshot. There's nothing really good about that, he's not a good jump shooter, that was true before his possible injury. If he wants to be helpful, kick it to other guys, or just don't shoot as much. Shooting jump shots, especially fade away deep 2's and 3's, is never going to be a winning strategy. It only hurts us.

This loss has little to do with WADE - I am not defending him, we played 7 guys tonight, our bench was Bosh and Miller - Our best shot blocker played 2 minutes, 3 other players that could have given our stars some rest never took off their warmups. STOP blaming the same guys, what did we do different when westbrook was driving to the basket? - NOT WHO did we use different, WHAT DID we do different?

Lebron - Great game for 3 quarters again. He had some big drives in the 3rd to try to stall the rally by the Thunder. Actually thought that he was ready to take over at that point. I swear that guy thinks too much in the 4th quarter of the Finals.

It is like he starts thinking about what people will think if he doesn't come through and starts to get in his own head. I could feel his demeanor change. He basically crapped himself trying too hard to make something happened. He lost the ball or failed to score a bunch of times that led to Thunder fast breaks.

Wade - He is injured or age is catching up to him. I don't know which one. But that guy is not the same Dwayne Wade of even last year in the Finals. You have 0 chance this series if he continues to play like this.

Bosh - Non existant. Basically a jump shooter. This guy needs to defend /rebound or get the F out.

Coach - He is an idiot. No one believes in him. Fire him for your own sake.

Bench - Battier played a good game. But he is a role player. He went above and beyond the call of duty today.

Durant - Wow that is a bad man. Best player in the league.

Lebron played 46 minutes. He still had 7 points in the 4th. Stop your narrative bull. We don't buy that **** here.

wouldn't change, he'd be forced to play different with MIAMI - it's not the players. we rely on talent and effort, OKC relies on the same thing BUT when that does not work, THEY EXECUTE. we don't execute, we look for Lebron and/or Wade

Hard to do anything when you cant hit a jumper to save your life. Hes not overthinking he cant shoot, so he tries to post and doesnt have greta footwork so he looses the ball when he gets out of control. Heat were in the game just couldnt get a stop with stupid steals and rebounding

The thing is, we are very very difficult to beat at home. We will never get blown out at home and it will always at least come down to the last possession if we haven't already won the game.

What gets me is how dumb is Spo that he couldn't at least get a better record than OKC in the regular season knowing the matchup was the most likely in the post season.

Our interior defense sucks, bosh has to be better. Wade has to be better.

Joel will need to be played more.

Who was guarding westbrook?

Our problems are not limited to Wade, but he is DEFINITELY a part of the problem. Shooting 37% on 19 shots? Most of which were jumpshots? Many of which were contested? Give me a break. It's not like he was playing incredible defense on Westbrook or Harden either. He's a part of the problem.

But yeah, we could go all day talking about our bench, our coaching, our defense, etc. Be my guest.

Yet Wade rejected him on the same exact play later in the game.

The Lebron comment killed it as well. He's the only one that played well today.

If Wade plays like this every game, we're not winning the series. Period. Bosh needs to be more involved in the offense. Wade needs to either play much better on offense or concentrate on shutting down Westbrook. Joel needs to play. More rest for Lebron, more Lebron on Durant, less switching. Let Lebron run the offense, he can find Wade off cuts. Anything else?

This is my laundry list.

Exactly either he has too much pride to admit he's injured and doesn't want excuses or we are seeing a washed up Wade. I hope it's the former that's wrong with him.

Wade has been in the league for 9 years now. Don't know what to say here, but 9 years in the league playing at an attacking superstar level is a long time.

Also here hoping is the former with Wade, but I'm ready to accept anything at this point.

Return to Miami Heat
