KD isn't asked to guard everyone. I don't think you've seen all the Heat games judging by your avatar, but what this team asks for LeBron in the time span that he plays, is ridiculous.

Durant always plays long minutes, but he isn't asked to lock down anyone. LeBron even plays center and started off the game guarding Perkins... even Perkins trying to post him up.

I don't think I'd see the day Durant doing something like that. Obviously Durant played very well today and I take nothing away from him, but LBJ's minutes were more than they appear because of what he's asked to do.

I have seen enough games of yours to know that yes you do ask him to do a lot for your team. But Durant was out there guarding Bron. So its not like he was just standing there guarding battier the whole time.

I think you are discreting Durant because he is not the primary ball handler like Bron. But regardless he is the leader of the team. He needs to come through in the 4th or you have no shot. 46 mins or not is not an excuse.

Nobody is discrediting Durant but the dude just looks fresh in crunch time compared to Bron. He doesn't do nearly as much and it's not even close. We didn't even lose this game because of offense. Our defense is never this bad. This is only the third time we have up 100 points since the playoffs started.

A lot of questions directed at Wade, and he's basically saying that he's doing a good shots, finding his teammate shots. He's not about scoring 30pts every night, he's about winning.

Give me a break man.

Anyone who blames LeBron for this one is an idiot. This is coming from a guy who was calling him a bum and begging to trade him after last years Finals debacle...

We lost this game in the 3rd quarter when the lead was pissed away, Wade went full (Please Use More Appropriate Word) with the long range shots, and OKC got momentum.

LeBron defended no less than 5 players tonight and on multiple occasions each.

Durant would literally die if he was asked to shoulder LeBron's load.

Edit:
I'm too pissed off to watch post-game interviews

PLEASE tell me you're joking about Wade saying he took good shots.

Sorry Dwyane, even a blind man isn't buying that bulls***.

GameTime_3 wrote:Why is Wade injury a valid excuse? Watch Wade play. When he wants to attack, he can. Its not like KG where you could tell he was giving it his all and the body wasn't letting him go any further. Can anyone honestly say by watching WADE that his playing his heart out?

Come on MOD - don't pin this loss on WADES shoulder without considering all the factors, didn't he do or try to do some good things in this game?

Joel and JJ

not Miller

LMAO we don't play Turiaf because he's injured, okay I get that.

Why play Miller? because he's our 4th most paid guy when he's injured as well?

dude's more than injured... ugh.

We need ENERGY off the bench. Bosh was fine but we didn't set him up right.

We need Wade/LeBron out there with IV's and oxygen tanks. God knows they can't sit.

Start the Big 3 all together, give them big minutes by all means but manage them better rather than long stretches of big 3 non stop.

Thats because you haven't played a healthy or as good a team as the thunder till now.
Our backcourt and starting frontcourt were injured
The Pacers suck.
Cs were old and lost their starting sg.

You need to realize that your D is good but you can't stop the Thunder. You need Lebron and Wade to counter KD and Durant offensively to have a shot. You are not stopping this team with your D.

if we ask the man that;'s KD is guarding to attack or make him work, his shot won't fall as easy - BUT WE DON'T - whoever is kicking our azz on offense gets a pass on defense.

Is it me or does it seem like Spo doesn't asign accountability post game and just sees it as part of the process because judging by our post game press conferences no one ever says 'i didn't get it going tonight' or 'this ones on me and i promise to come out better next game'.

As much as it feels like the sky is falling right now, it's not quite yet. If we've seen anything from these playoffs, it's that the feel of a series changes with each game.

Return to Miami Heat
