Spoelstra really thinks it's cute that he plays Lebron 47 minutes a game. Just because Lebron is a freak of nature and has that stamina doesn't mean he has to ride him into the ground. Lebron's bringing this up in the postgame interviews was about as desperate a cry for help as we'll see from the guy

I am going to pull my hair out if this clown wins a ring before LBJ or before Wade gets his second, technically the same thing.

He can't call them out because they will turn on him. Lebron and Wade are not leaders like that. They care more about their image and it is never their fault. EVER. They never say "oh I had a bad game but I will come out better next game for my teammates". Never have I heard them put blame on themselves even when its apparent the loss falls on their shoulders.

I disagree to an extent, if you get a coach that is not scared and has respect around the league (anyone but Spo pretty much) then he can asign leadership to an MVP per say and the rest will fall in line. Doc Rivers comes down hard on Rondo when he doesn't get it going. How do i know? I am intrigued with coaching mindsets and how they get players motivated and let's just say i have seen alot of Doc in the dressing room adressing his stars.

Wait I think you misunderstood my point. I agree with you 100% that with the right coach leading the way Lebron would start to become a leader. But he has had crap coaches his whole life like Brown and Spoelstra. He needs someone who he respects so that he can get in his face when he does bad.

Kind of what like Phil did for Shaq. Lebron is not a natural born leader so he needs the right type of coach for that.

Precisely Bron needs the right coach around him. Guess i did misunderstand

LeBron is a big baby sometimes.

GO look at Michael Jordan's minutes when he was -35- years old. He was playing 45+ minutes per game in the playoffs.

THIRTY FIVE YRS OLD!!!!!!

LeBron is in his prime....got to be kidding me about this minutes thing.

I have never seen a player with as much assignments and responsibility over the span of a game than Lebron has, come on dude it's not a minutes thing it's mere fact. You rest him more then in the 4th you don't get a KD catching fire because the more dominant LeBron will be all up in his grill.

It's not about being a baby. I'm sure most of these players would play 48 minutes if they could. It's about being smart enough to recognize how a player can be most effective

I hope Wade looks himself in a gym and gets his jumper back for next game

Lebron attack more to get KD in foul trouble and work in the post

UD is good in limited mins, He seemed dead in the end

Mario keep on thinking your a superstar and attack

Shane keep on doing what your doing

Bosh attack and play closer to the paint, bleep what Spo says.

Joel needs to play more same with Cole but in limited mins

Spo ask for help from Pat, or adopt some kids or a pet turtle anything so you can "spend more time with them"

Miller should only be on the court when Fisher is on the court and even then I'm not to sure.

MiaFLSurf said he only makes threads when we are desperate for a win. Well I think we're desperate for a win in Game 2.

Relying on going 3-0 at home is crazy. Almost never happens.

My ridiculous superstition is to sleep (More like lay down nervously) from halftime until the end of the 3rd quarter or middle of the 4th. I didn't do that today and we got killed in the 2nd half. :(

Edit:
I like LeBron calling out the fact that we need more guys to play. When that 12-13 point lead some bench guys could have been brought in. I'm very confident we'll see more of the bench next game.

You have never seen it cause you are too young to have seen Jordan play. MJ played tenacious defense for every possession. He even would guard the opposing team's best players.

You act like LBJ is being asked to do something never done before. Stop repeating that garbage, I heard it before and it's a myth. Many players have done it before and didn't complain.

Did Jordan have to guard 1-5 positions and run the point?

Durant played 46 minutes also......But he basically got to rest up on the floor till the 4th Qrt.

And...

There is just one Jordan....Everyone's not the same...

I'd rather have an excellent 41 minutes of LeBron. Than very good 48 minute LeBron.

Agree and disagree on this. I agree he has a lot of responsibility BUT he hand picked this team. It is not like he got drafted they put crap players around him (hi cleveland) and through no fault of his own he had to do it all.

No. He hand picked this team . So this whole "he does too much" is crap. He put himself in this situation. So now he should live with it.

Too many excuses. He either puts up like in game 6 of the ECF or he doesn't and you lose and he takes the blame. At some point the excuses have to stop and he has to go out there and win it. 46 mins or not.

no, MiaFLSurf makes threads when he thinks that Miami is going to win the game. When he knows the game is a toss up or Miami most likely will lose, he won't make it and say "I only make it when we need a win" to keep up a fake act, it's all a game.

Riles and Zo look like pissed mofo's.

Riley: "If I see you take one more ISO jumper Wade I Swear to god..."
Zo: "If I were playing I would have went 'LOL Nick Collison who?', grabbed those rebounds he had, and I would have dunked on him. KD would be scared to come into MY paint. Ibaka thinks he knows about shot blocking. Just wait until I suit up."

I don't care what scott brooks says he's on crack if he thinks his team is a defense first team. Ibaka is the only reliable and consistent guy on D for them. Miami Heat basketball is defined by defense first which they turn to transition points better than any other when the D is going.

Return to Miami Heat
