Not sure because during the Brazil-Argentina they kept referring to Hulk as the new Chelsea signing.

Were you watching the GolTV feed? The whole time I was watching, I was wondering how they always seem to get the worst commentators to work for them.

It'll be interesting to see how he tries to maintain decent playing time for everyone next season. Either way, I like the guy, so hopefully we have a successful season next year.

I don't think there would be much rotation to be honest, Di Matteo since Swansea and Wes Brom has always been a guy who finds an XI and sticks to it. I hope he does learn to rotate because we've seen from Spurs and City this year the problems with sticking to an XI throughout the year

Well, I guess it depends how he can manage the ego's.

Strikers/Centre Forwards: Torres/Sturridge/Lukaku

Wingers: Mata/Marin/Hazard/Malouda

Mid: Lampard/Miereles/Mikel/Essien/Ramires/Romeu

Defense: Terry/Cole/Cahill/Luiz/Ivanovic/Betrand

Who am I missing here? possibly Hulk I guess?

Seems like he's going to have to rotate to keep a lot of players happy.

Missing Ferreira, and Hutchinson

He needs to rotate, with the World Club Cup as well we need to make sure that we're fresh throughout the season. I don't think ego would be an issue, everybody loves Di Matteo and they seem to like playing for him. I'm sure they'll understand that rotation needs to happen a lot next year.

Yes, we offered €7MIL for him I think and they rejected it. They are looking for €12-13 MIL.
We are also intereted in Jovetic and Hulk for quite long time.

Midfield needs to improve.

I feel bad for Essien, pre-injuries, he was easily a top 5 player in the world.

Yes, he was monster pre-injuries, to bad he is not the same player again. He can still be a role player until his contract is up.

Essien was never a top 5 player, but he was pretty good, maybe a top 5-10 midfielder. He's had bad luck with injuries though, so this year will be make or break.

Hopefully we close the Hulk transfer soon, and who knows, maybe Moses. I'd be happy with that.

It looks like Malouda could leave for Brasil. I always felt he got too much stick from the fans, but this is probably the best decision for both him and the club. Was the best winger in the country for a short time and played a role in both our Double campaigns. Not bad.

Under normal circumstances, I'd not want AVB to fail, because he deserves another chance somewhere.

But damnit I hope the Spurs players have no respect for him and they start the season in a horrible slump. It would annoy me so much if AVB came good for them.
