Westbrook is the most important player on the Thunder.

Stop Westbrook...stop the Thunder.

And Wade sucked ass, lets just call it what is.

He sucked.

But whatever.

Not that the Heat will be able to adjust their defensive philosophy, but they won't be able to stop Hi PnR of Thunder the way they hedge

BBALLBREAKDOWN ‏@bballSource
To my eye, the OKC lineup w/ Fisher,Westbrook, Durant & Harden is VERY problematic for Heat. Just picking up men in transition was hard

BBALLBREAKDOWN ‏@bballSource
In 2nd quarter, Brooks had KD,Russ,Harden,DFIsh,Perk vs Battier,Bosh,Chalmers,Haslem & LBJ. Spoelstra better not caught like this again.

BBALLBREAKDOWN ‏@bballSource
Spoelstra fixed that lineup by inserting Wade - who only got 1:30 of rest in 2nd. Mistake, since Wade got tired.

BBALLBREAKDOWN ‏@bballSource
There are times looking at this Heat offense, no one has any clue where they're supposed to go. And they're up by 11 when I'm seeing this!

BBALLBREAKDOWN ‏@bballSource
I think this game turned in the middle of the 2nd when Spoelstra left a lineup out there that had Bosh guarding Derek Fisher.SMH (S for Spo)

BBALLBREAKDOWN ‏@bballSource
If I were Brooks,I'd put Russ on left wing against Wade & let him drive. Wade can't push off his bad left knee, Russ would score every time

The problem with LeBron on Westbrook is quite obvious: it's exhausting as ****. You want him to play 46min, keep his team in the game, defend the quickest PG in the league, defend KD in crunch time and be able to close out games? And I almost forgot: scoring at least 30-10-5? This after playing like every game in the season and the exhausting POs he had? Won't work.

He should defend Westbrook some minutes during the game to ''break'' his rhythm, but Wade needs to get his **** together.

Pretty much. Some of these guys want Lebron to be all, do all. It's not going to work. You have to demand more out of other stars, and role players. It's crazy how guys are suggesting things Lebron should do to make it easier on other players. LOL He played 46 minutes...come on now.

Lebron should hand out water and gatorade.

Probably should even wash everyone's uniforms.

Then he should even draw up plays.

Maybe even get Spo's suit dry cleaned.

How about light Riley's cigar?

Maybe he should even pass to himself and score and then get the block then score again.

I don't think it's over.

We got caught playing unintelligent basket ball in the second half and did not adjust to who the Thunder had on the floor. Bosh/Shane had a great impact in spacing out the first unit of OKC, but after that, we really did not much answers for when OKC tried different line ups and went on runs, lead by Russel Westbrook burning whoever was defending him.

This is a chess match. We need to answer every OKC run and attack the weak link: Westbrook. Piss him off, he will take shots away from Durant.

If we finally find a good way to defend Westbrook, we can keep LeBron on Durant.
BBALLBREAKDOWN ‏@bballSource
@JKnick305 Miami should realize that even though they looked disorganized, they had a 13 pt lead. That said, OKC no longer rusty from layoff

We still have chances. Definitely. Keep our heads in the game, play defense, run offense, play Miami Heat basket ball. We should be fine.

Wade should guard Westbrook . Charmers should funnel Westbrook to bosh if possible to the right hand side

Dude's length would frustrate Westbrook. Westbrook would go in with a full head of steam, throw up a crazy lay up, then jump and flail in the air and yell "and-1" before landing on his back, leading to a fast break :).

It really is such a simple adjustment.

In the 4th quarter Haslem in foul trouble, you replace him with Joel, not Battier. We're not going to win because our offense was better, we're not going to win a shootout, I don't get why some here thought it was the right decision to play Battier just because he made a couple of 3 point shots. We were down 1 point in the 4th quarter, you bring in Joel and play your best defense.

I think Westbrook's penetration is what really **** us. Joel could have helped trapped him a bit and maybe get a couple of block shots or contest the shots at the paint. Battier isn't going to do that for us.

I don't even know if Spoelstra will make this simple adjustment but honestly, it is sad that we have to lose to make an adjustment, he refuses to make any substitutions in the 4th quarter unless there's foul trouble. And he can't make any adjustments in game, it has to be when the game is over. **** dumb.

This article is great. We desperately need to stop switching so damn much. I wish Sebastian Pruiti (dude who wrote the article) was our coach instead of Spo.

this - plus Chalmers had 4 fouls, but he didn't/doesn't trust Cole(who had 0 fouls) to at least give OKC a different look. It's like, one guy can do this, but can't do that.
