Almost forgot, another thing which I'm shocked hasn't gotten more play. On ESPN radio as part of the pre-game last night they had Ric Bucher on, and they were talking about would Bosh start or not.

Per Bucher, Spoelstra told him (Bucher) that he wasn't starting Bosh because he didn't want any additional talking points.

He's telling us the coach would rather lose the finals than create more 'talking points'?

One of those two needs to be called out and answer to this, Spoelstra if he that's stupid, and Bucher if he's lying.

I can't imagine any real head coaches worrying about what the media will say, or how Bosh starting would in any way be viewed as controversial. So, just my guess here, I think Bucher is lying. Just my guess, I don't know one way or the other.

Lebron feels bad Battier's contributions were wasted? Battier played 12 minutes in the fourth quarter and got 1 shot. Who's fault is that?

I made up that part. He sounded like VDN by saying the Thunder won because "they made plays" so I created a fictitious additional response in which he exhibited other The Blackisms. Like referring to Shane Battier as Gene Battier.

Spoelstra is just one crappy coach, I'll tell you that. I'm not sure who would be better that will be available other than the obvious Riley, but Spoelstra is at best an average, but really below average group.

I still think Lebron will go into full body flex mode and win 4 out of the next 5. I had said Heat in 5, now I say Heat in 6.

The Thunder are a young, talented team built the right way with a huge fan following in a small market.

Miami is a group of insufferable, entitled douchebags that got together and hatched a mastermind plan of living on the beach, partying, and fake boxing their way to title after easy title.

LeBron James refers to himself in 3rd person at times.

He also calls himself King James. His twitter handle is @KingJames. He does not have any rings. The longer this goes on the funnier it gets.

There is no reason anyone except Miami fans should be rooting for the Heat. If you do, I will go so far as to question not only your Bulls fandom, but your moral makeup as well. ****. The. Heat.

You really think they didn't realize (and intend for) that obnoxious summer offseason victory party would be broadcast coast to coast? Really? They were so smug in the immediate aftermath of the collusion/decision. There's no way that "wasn't meant for the rest of the country," If anything, it was meant for the rest of us more than it was for Miami fans. It was a "suck on this" middle finger to all of us. They were certain they were going to own the league.

They thought it would be easy. They SAID so. They STILL think it should be easy. You can tell every time they play. Wade with his insufferable "ZOMG I MISSED THE SHOT AND THEN FELL DOWN ON PURPOSE WHERE'S MY FOUL!!!!!" routine. Lebron with his "even when I lose you're still little people, so FU" bs. Bosh being Christina, generally. They act like they don't think they should even have to earn it. They're good enough to get away with that most of the time, but that only makes it more douchey. I will credit Lebron in that, on the court, he's all business these days. He doesn't take fake pictures and go fake bowling with his teammates anymore. That's progress.

Random responses:

(1) The Heat aren't winning this. That is an understandable internal defense mechanism to avoid disappointment if you predict OKC takes it. But its OKC in 5. 6 tops. The Heat can't answer that. Not because they are soft or uncluth or whatever, but because they aren't good enough. OKC is a class above them this year, and matches up perfectly.

(2) Following that theme, the Bulls would have drubbed the Heat as well. But I don't think we could have done anything with OKC. They're better and match up with us well. Basically, they are a better version of the Bulls. Its scary. But I'm okay with it because . . . .

(3) . . . . everything about them is likeable. Why is Westbrook a dick? Because he's passionate on the court? Outside of that, I see nothing. There's nothing not to like about that team other than their embarrassment of riches. All of their players are likeable, they play great defense, they play with effort, they aren't exactly the 2002 Kings, but they share the ball, they have a classy coach, a premiere GM who isn't arrogant about it, etc. And they have Thabo. What's not to like about a team that has Thabo?

(4) On the other hand, what's with this "I don't hate the Heat" or "I'm over hating the Heat" or "The Heat aren't scary enough to hate anymore" flibbidy-floo? Man up and embrace your pettiness. You don't let your hatred fade just because they aren't as threatening anymore. You revel in it. The point of the hatred is to see them fade away with nothing. If they start to slip in the East over the years to the point that they are fighting for a playoff spot, you root for them to lose every game. Even when the Thupafwendth scatter to the four corners of the NBA, I'll hate the Heat franchise. The taint is permanent. And I'll hate whatever teams these clowns end up on when they do eventually leave (unless its the Bulls, hypocrisy be damned).

LeBron James took a crap on his home state on NATIONAL TELEVISION. It is the douchiest non-criminal thing a professional athlete has ever done. Not to mention the 30 other things he's done since then that we know all too well, so I won't bother mentioning.

Dwyane Wade? Its hard to believe, but he's become an even bigger tool than LeBron. Dirk, sniff, Dirk, loyalty, my grandmama gave me that chain, the world is a better place because the Heat lost (which is true, of course), etc. Every time I see him smile I want to smack in him in the teeth with a lead pipe.

And Bosh isn't bad if you like guys who tweet about waffles, want to chill, and get upset about opponents who dive for loose balls near their legs.

I hope Miami never wins another game of basketball for the rest of eternity, the franchise moves to Boise, the American Airlines arena and all Heat merchandise within it deteriorates and crumbles to the ground, and then biodegrades into the atmosphere so we can all breathe it in and fart it out.

hahah I'm just reading back a couple pages now to find some funny comments. However, I oddly find myself rooting for the Heat. Only Wade really angers me these days and begs my hatred. Thing is, I think the Heat can and will win by minimizing his contributions (Lebron needs the ball!).

I just don't want the Thunder to become more of a threat than they already obviously are. The Heat are already cemented as a huge threat to us, especially since they are in our conference. Even if they lose, they remain the same threat. OKC, however, if they win, becomes that much more of a threat in my mind.

Also, while I hate Wade big time, and laugh at the bitches that are Bosh, Spoelstra, Mike Miller, etc, I also hate Kendrick Perkins quite a bit, am starting to dislike Westbrook (probably because his play is theoretically threatening our elevation of Rose), and I laugh at the bitches that are Collison and Thabo. Man I usually like ex Bulls, but I effing hate Thabo. I just want to punch him. The only guys I'm kinda OK with on the two teams, for unexplainable reasons, are:

Even if we pretend Spo cares about what questions he has to answer in a press conference, why in the world would anyone think that returning an all-star to his starter status would be in any way controversial? Isn't it more controversial to continue not starting him?

oddly enough...on paper it looks like it would have been the greatest (and most evenly matched) finals if lebron had come to the bulls and then matched up with these Thunder. You could then have bron on KD, Rose on Westbrook, monster third options in deng and harden, great team defenses with not much post scoring..etc etc. But don't mistake that for me caring. lets go thunder.

that toe issue is shrouded in more mystery than why the Humphries Kardashian marriage occured. Good luck finding an answer. I suspect that it may never get better without extended rest and light duty, and I'm talking at least a year of rest if not years plural. I had a chronic bad toe turf toe arthritic toe whatever you want to call it. I have had doctors call it all kinds of things. It didn't clear up until I stopped playing organized or annual team sports completely for the most part. After many years off (close to 10), I play flag football these days (or did before I broke my leg) and the toe is 100%. Took such a long time. But I'm aware that pro athletes can get professional attention that can make a difference. But since he has had it for so many years without it getting better (says he hasn't bent it in years), tells me rest is the final course of effective treatment. For some reason, Derrick spontaneously said his toe is fine after he took time off for his groin. But we have learned that Derrick doesn't tell the truth about his body.
