OT Matt Cain with a Perfect Game and 14 K's

As a Giants fan for the last 12 years, this was a great night. No one deserved it more than Cain. Great to see him in the history books.

It was a dominant game pitched by Cain. He was a beast all night.

Dickey was just as if more dominant last night as well. Dickey should have had a perfect game as well if it wasn't for a right misplay that led to an infield hit and then a error by right in the 9th inning. There was not one ball that was hit hard all game and not one terrific play by the fielders that usually happen to keep a no hitter/perfect game alive.

If I remember correctly Chris Snyder absolutely hammered a ball to left center that would be out of almost any park that was caught at the fence (ball just doesn't travel at AT&T park). Also Gregor Blanco's catch in the 7th inning was something special. Great jump on the ball and a full out dive in the gap!

Again not trying to take away anything Cain did, he was flate out dominant all night vs the astros but Dickey was just as good last night as well but it will be over shadowed by Cain which kinda stinks.

The mets have one of the richest franchise in terms of pitching. Dickey deserved a perfect game last night and Johan deserved his no-hitter!
