Toronto also has a great claim and Phoenix is the darkhorse imo.

I'm from the Toronto board , as a fan of Kemba i came to check your board but..

No, other than the wolves i don't see an argument for any other franchise to be worst than the Bobcats FO. The OP states its the worst FO not drafting team, other than one year of a 1st round exit, may I add to the Magic, one of your candidate for worst FO? when your best team was trash compared to their best team.. of this era. (not even gonna talk about Shaq/Penny or TMac era)

For Toronto, we've had several stars, and have had more success, no doubt, with an NBA legend in VC and a allstar of this era in CB4, both better than Gerald Wallace, you're franchises best player who is now a journeyman.

Phoenix also made the WCF and really gave lakers a run for their money. drafted some gems, including Nash, STAT, and the matrix. And theirs no way you can take away from STAT after this year as the poster above me stated, because he was amazing for most of his career.

Wolves, also have made a team that should be contending for a play off spot, and should have if not for rubios injury..

I like the Bobcats, i like gerald wallace, but to compare your franchise to be better than anybody elses in the FO is a joke.

talking about front offices - I love the news of Gerald Wallace opting out, which means that the Nets traded a number six pick for 16 games of Crash during a tanking season.

we are speaking historically, not just today.

the twolves have had 600 lottery picks in the past 17 years and missed on just about all of them except garnett, love (draft day trade) and rubio. their ineptitude for drafting stretches back twice as long as bobcats. they should be better than us considering the sheer number of high draft picks they have had. this is only the 4th time in franchise history the bobcats are selecting higher than 8.

no doubt we have been a bad front office in our short existence, but not to the level of the twolves. they win easily.

Michael Jordan has given Cho full autonomy to make roster decisions.

"It's been terrific to work with Michael," Cho said. "He is very supportive. He has taken a step back, but we always keep him informed. When he is in town, we always talk."

Be the man Cho-riffic.

Timberwolves playoff- 8/23- 35%
Next couple of seasons, lead by rubio and love look to be in the play offs again.
Bobcats playoff- 1/8- 13%
Next couple of seasons look to be rebuilding seasons.... again.

Historically, and presently the Timberwolves have had success and that outweighs the Bobcats being a young squad and the frequent lottery picks. I do think your franchise has a turnaround guy in Cho.

To the other guy, i dont like vince carter that much, but he is a legend, the greatest dunker ever, and the favorite player of many people because of his talent/flair. Unless being the greatest dunker ever doesn't make you a legend.

I'll just stop you there

First 8 Timberwolves seasons: 1/8 playoffs, eliminated in the first round
First 8 Bobcats seasons: 1/8 playoffs, eliminated in the first round

Huh, go figure.

The expansion Bobcats have won more games since their inception than the Wolves had. Pretty Bad considering the head start they had and the 7 wins the Bobcats had this year.

Bobcats have won 85 games the last 3 years. Wolves? 58.

We're not talking about which franchise has been the least successful, just who has the most inept front office. What you're arguing implies that the T-Wolves have been a more successful franchise during their existence, and I'll give you that. While FO decisions definitely have an effect on making/missing the playoffs, it's far from the only reason, so using that as the basis of your argument is a little weak. One thing the FO has much more control over is player transactions, thus making it a better basis to determine which teams have poorer FOs. Hence, the reason Fats started this thread and immediately referenced draft picks...not playoff performance.

The Bobcats have had a pretty poor draft history, so in a sense you may be 100% correct in saying we're the worst, but you're using the wrong numbers to argue it. If someone wants to go through and decide who has had the greater bust percentage or something (I'm not gonna do it) then go for it, but I also think trades and FA acquisitions should also be included.
