You know what....i think i'm stuck between Quincy Miller and PJ3.....Both from Baylor.....an inch separates them in height.....both can handle the ball........both can shoot.....Q has the advantage in 1 on 1 situations....PJ3 has the advantage in athleticism.....both has high potential and somewhat high risk......hopefully if one of these guys are still on the board we select them....but we might go PG if Nelson opts out.....

Ok... what are we going to do when PJ3 starts to drop, gets to Minn. at the 18th... they pass. We all go crazy, jumping up and down, doing shots, loving life... and then we pass on him.

why are you happy that we might pick him?? are you going based on his assist numbers? because duhon averaged 8 apg with the knicks a few years ago... lets go out and sign him... oh wait...

I like the idea of a pass-first point guard directing our offense. Not that Jameer's drop-shoulder style of offense is inherently bad, but someone who can really see and navigate the floor is a huge boon to an offense and especially an offense like ours, where no one can really create his own shot.

I don't think Marshall is a future star, but I think he'll be better than Duhon. He can play floor general, and is exactly the sort of role player that can make a difference on the court by improving the game of those around him. He's not Chris Paul, but he might be Brevin Knight. Even if he ends up capably backing up someone else for his entire career, I'd still take that production out of a #19 pick any year.

Edit: Plus, I do think his jump shot will improve. It can't not. You have to imagine training with a guy like Mark Price would pay dividends here.

What is the opinion of Scott Machado? I would like us to buy a second round pick and draft him.

If OKC wins this year, they'll be the first team to win in a while with a PG who looks primarily for himself.

and there is a reason for that....times are changing man....Wall...Westbrook....Kyrie....Rose.....That's the way the league is going....Having a Dynamic PG is the way to go in my eyes...not a one dimensional PG like Marshall....

Best passer in the draft, I like him more than Kendall Duhon.

Guys, Andre Miller right now is probably better than Kendall Marshall is ever gonna be. Let that sink in.

NO TEAM has won with a "Pass Only" PG, which is what Marshall is.

I know your trying to use Dallas and Boston as your examples, which is also off base, Rondo does/did/can it ALL when the time comes for it.

Kidd wasn't the one leading Dallas to that championship either, they won off the backs of Dirk, Terry and the Kidd/Barea combo.

My other issue is, the same people that complain about our all jumpshot offense, are the same people that want these Kendall Marshall type point guards which leads you to what? Answer is....MORE jumpshots.

What you need is a dynamic talent that can do it all if he is going to be dominating the ball all game.
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.

The fact that Kendall Marshall leads this poll is entirely disgusting. Wake up Magic fans! Wake up.

Kendall Marshall is not as bad as most of you guys are making him out to be. The guy makes the right basketball plays & gets his teammates where they need to be. He was also shooting the ball extremely well late in the year before he got hurt. I was not high on him until he started to show that he can make jumpers consistently.

Now with that said he is not my pick, although I do expect him to be a good PG in the NBA.

PJ3
Miller
Harkless
Wroten
Teague
