As artists, why not? Both are very talented. As long as people don't wanna be like either off the stage/out of the studio.

Chris Brown is talented? I mean, besides being able to dance, i highly disagree with you. He prob doesnt even write 90% of his music.

So people should respect him for something he was born with? He's just a dude that got lucky in having the right connections and getting spotted among countless others, many of which actually write their own music. Nothing wrong with liking his music, but to call him an artist...? I think people throw that term around too loosely. Not saying he didn't work hard either, but just that he doesn't really deserve any sort of particular respect over others. Just my 2c.
