Why Does Everyone Hate Chalmers?

every game you have lebron, wade, bosh screaming at him after some play. this happens a lot, but I don't see him making a ton of mistakes out there. do they just not like him? what's he doing wrong?

Because he has talent but also one of the dumbest BBIQ's around. He makes a few good plays but then he does something that leaves you scratching your head in disbelief. Today he had a few really really bad turnover that didn't need to be. He forced it. But these playoffs, his been alot better about doing dumb stuff.

because he makes a lot of stupid plays. he's still making rookie mistakes well into his 4th year. a lot of careless passes and lots of lapses on defense. imo part of the problem is chalmers is more of a scoring pg as opposed to a true pg

His game is not aesthetically pleasing (to be kind) and he makes dumb plays

Did you see the play near the end of the game where he went baseline and then threw the ball away?

I actually feel bad for the guy haha he goes out there and plays his heart out everynight. I think the Big 3 like him personally, just a few mistakes here and there

He was 1-7 today haha

but no really, even watching at home, he's a bonehead

but they know he has a lot of talent, that he's a college winner (Kansas, big shot 3 over Rose).

They give him TOUGH LOVE basically. They tell him what he's doing right and what he's doing wrong.

Boston use to do this with Rondo. And look at the player he has become.

Mario has gotten better as well, especially since LeBron has joined.

I like Chalmers. I always have, since Beasley was here.

The kid can hit 3pters and play defense. I want him on the team.

BUT HE NEEDS TO STOP THOSE STUPID BASELINE DRIVES THAT CAUSE TURNOVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the reason is because he says stupid things

Case in point, when LeBron held the ball after his rebound waiting to get fouled, Rio looked at LBJ like, "why not pass to me?"

Wade was upset with him about that during the next timeout.

In all fairness, Chalmers has improved leaps and bounds. He improved vastly offensively, and can even finish around the basket which he could not do his first years in the league or even last year. Also his decision making has improved as well.

We always knew he had more balls than brains but at least the ratio is starting to even itself out. The reason Wade and Lebron are always on him is because they know how important he is because he is a fearless competitor and they don't want his mistakes handicapping his game and hence the team.

Chalmers got big balls because he simply just doesn't give a f***...therefore he does stupid s***.

He's a bonehead like Wade but he doesn't have the talent.

I love Rio and I'm sure the team does too, but he has a tendency to make (Please Use More Appropriate Word) plays at very inconvenient times. I cringe every time I see him look up court trying to throw an outlet pass.

My fan relationship with Chalmers is the epitome of love/hate.

The only other fan relationship that came close for me is Antoine Walker, and even that tended toward the hate side more often than not.

Too many bad plays by him today. Shot poorly, turned it over 3 times and only got 1 assist. He did a poor job attacking today too, eventhough we need him to when Wade and Bron take possessions off. I was also disappointed Cole doesn't go to the rim in the halfcourt. He probably doesn't have confidence in his ability to pass out of the pressure, but we need our PGs to relieve Bron and Wade from having to do all the ball-handling and penetrating. PEACE.

Chalmers has improved. That being said, he does somethings that drive me insane.

That play where he threw it away and Westbrook got the and-1 I almost had a meltdown in front of my friends. Good thing I know how to stay collected

he does some boneheaded things sometimes but don't you guys think the big 3 use him as a punching bag because they can't yell at eachother? they rip into him too much. I was surprised to see bosh do it this game

Everyone does it. I've seen Bosh, Bron, Wade, Haslem and even Joel yell at him. He's strong-willed though, and can handle the criticism. When he plays well, they all support him, so it's just love. PEACE.
