Gerald Wallace
I wonder what his current market value is? He could be a really good option for the Jazz.

Re: Gerald Wallace
I really wanted him for the Jazz years ago, usually as a part of a trade involving AK. I don't want him anymore. He's still a good player, but he is no longer the ultra-athlete he once was, and they call him "Crash" for a reason. After the injury woes with AK, I don't want another player like that and on the same position no less.
I think his market value is also similar to AK's

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Re: Gerald Wallace
He opted out of a contract that was going to pay him a lot of money........ He's probably looking at a multi-year deal starting at above $8 mil a year....... And he'll probably get it......
We should not pay him that kind of money.....

Re: Gerald Wallace
Wallace makes the same money as Devin Harris, and if I had to choose between the two I would take Wallace.
The one downside to Wallace would be signing him to multiple years without knowing how well he is going to fit. But I assume that he would be tradeable, if he didn't fit in with the Jazz/Corbin and the Jazz signed him based on an accurate market value.

So would I, but that's not really the choice.......
We need a guy who can space the floor on the wing, and as good as Wallace is in other spects of the game, he's not the shooter we need......
If that's what you're going for, just bring back AK at half the price.....

Honest to goodness, I don't know whether I love his man braids or hate them yucky things. Maybe he just needs to pull them forward to cover his ginormous forehead and frost the tips or something.

Re: Gerald Wallace
since it seems most of us agree that Wallace will sign a contract that will will cause him to make as much money as Harris, I would contend that Harris is more valuable, since his contract is entering its final year, while Wallace will make the same amount multiple years. If you don't want to give a player of their level around 8M a year, then the more valuable player will be the one whose contract is about the expire.
