That's a bit of a red flag for me. Thinking that a team with John Wall, Nene, Jordan Crawford, and MKG as their best four players will make the playoffs? Serious judgment issues for sure.

Didn't especially like the crybabyness either.

How can he say that to his future fanbase, who will pretty much definitely miss the playoffs?

We haven't seen MKG play yet.

His workout Monday will be interesting. Bobcats.com usually has pretty good videos of the workouts as opposed to those pathetic videos of the Wizards workouts.

I think team sponsored workout videos are interesting. If there was a guy you really wanted but weren't sure if they would last to your pick, wouldn't you post a video that edited out lots of good parts aspects from a player's performance so they would second guess what they saw in their own workout?

Over the past 5 years the Kings website has set the standard when it comes to drat time IMO.

So much so that I e-mailed the Bobcats webmaster about 2 years ago directing him to them pointing out how wonderful they are.

I wonder if MKG thinks we'd be a playoff team this year with him on it??

Biz, Mullens, MKG, Henderson, Walker would still only get about 20 wins if we're relatively healthy.

There are some high school game replays coming on ESPNU today with MKG, Rivers, and other draft prospects in them.

Gilchrist was one of my favorite guys in this draft but I've really soured on him. I find his ball handling skills overrated and his jumpshot is absolutely horrible that looks like it's beyond repair (and if he does fix it, he would still need to work on accuracy). And it doesn't help that some people think he isn't much different from Moe Harkless, who seems to be a mid first round to late first round pick.

Yup, That is the thing kinda turning me off to MKG....Hendo has an improved J, Kemba is erratic, I don't want a 3 that can't shoot. I'm not saying he can't develop, but if it doesn't teams will just pack the paint and dare us to shoot.

That comment was more about the Cats sucking than MKG sucking. Whoever we pick, we are still going to be a bottom 5 team in the league. We can count on a 2013 top 5 pick if we don't trade the pick. MKG is still my second option behind Drummond. I'm still interested in him.

I know but, I don't like the idea of having a starting back court that is short but not all great shooters, then to pair a 3 with them that isn't a great shooter isn't the best of situations either. I mean unless they can get to the rack with ease.

agreed that MKG is a bad fit for our current team. he gives us 3 outside guys who cant really shoot. however, that shouldnt be a reason to pass on him. no idea if kemba or hendo will be on the team or starting in 2-3 years.

this logic goes for all our potential picks. dont pass on a guy based on our current roster. i'll even apply that for beal as well since he would duplicate our best position.

take the best player, regardless of fit or position and figure it out later.

True, I have to keep reminding myself to not do that lol. No one on our roster is really untouchable.

Watched Michael Kidd-Gilchrist shoot from top of key. Swish, swish, swish, non-swish, swish. So graceful and such cool electric blue shoes.

Watching Gilchrist' interview on Bobcats.com was one of the most painful things I have ever seen.
