The Brewers will spend this weekend in Minnesota, playing another team that has people in baseball wondering. Rival teams have speculated on whether the Twins would deal Josh Willingham and/or Justin Morneau, with the Blue Jays said to be particularly interested in the Canadian-born Morneau.
So far, the Twins don't seem particularly interested in trading either one, since both are under contract for next year.
And while a source said that Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos called to ask about Morneau, one rival executive said that means little.
"I like Alex, but Alex calls about everyone," the executive said.

Geez Polo, must really be a slow day over at the network
Thanks for the articles though. I think most people around here have discussed the idea of Morneau joining us. It's interesting to think about what it would take though. I'd rather pay more of his salary, and send less talent, as opposed to the other way around.

I keep hearing players the Blue Jays are interested in yet we never land any of them.

Heard about this. Twins should just trade Morneau and Mauer, then build the team properly. But I'm with torontoaces, I'll take Morneau if we get a bargain for him.

I will always stick by this: When there is a rumour, it probably wont happen.
But, I would love Morneau. I think he would excel in roger centre because of how shallow it is.

I'm not sure there would be a market for Mauer's contract
A hometown discount, it was not...
