He officially opted out. I know he had interest in coming here, what are the chances Kahn scoops him up from the FA market?
We could use him as our backup 2/1 until Rubio gets back.

Re: Ja. Crawford ?
I'd throw a deal similar to the one Portland offered. Obviously it's upgrade which isn't saying much. The reason I like him is because I think he would fit much better in Adelman's system than in Portlands. While he's sometimes labeled as just a guard, he's really more of a scorer than a point guard and Portland out of necessity made him a playmaker.
Is there any word on Rubio's injury? I was under the impression that the best case scenario would be for him to return by the season opener.

Re: Ja. Crawford ?
I'd be hesitant. I guess a similar deal to what Portland gave him would be ok, but the guy had one of the worst seasons of his career this year and it's not like he's getting any younger. The chance he could reclaim his Atlanta form is worth taking, but not for too much.

If it's for a deal around 1 to 2 years for $5m and under...then I'd be fine with it. At worst he's an upper-echelon 6th man who plays both guard spots and can handle the rock.

Richardson doesn't satisfy our need of adding a playmaker/ballhandler on the wing.

I'd be ok with it as a plan B or C option if our other SG pipe dreams fall apart. He'd be good off the bench for this team from a quick burst of scoring stand point.

Never was a fan of Crawford.
I still feel awful when Crawford attempted to block Hoiberg's shot and was flipped onto his head when Hoiberg went up for the shot.
-My random Crawford memory.

Crawford would be a decent signing, after all, he is what we need.
hes not my favorite option but i wouldnt be mad at the signing, hes a very solid player and can handle, create his own shot and score
he could put up 12-15ppg next to Ricky.
