I kind of got into this in the other thread but I don't believe its that actually.
I believe it's that he still doesn't realize how good he is......
This is a kid that
1. Didn't start on his highschool team until his final 2 years
2. Wasn't a top 100 recruit coming out of highschool
3. Wasn't even noticed until he became the 2nd best player on the national championship team
Most of lotto picks are easily starters throughout highschool and are in fact showered with attention since probably the first or second year. I think Lamb's mind is stuck in thinking he's not that great because he wasn't even a starter until late in highschool and now all of sudden he went to be recognized as the 2nd best player on a national champion and now the top scoring wing in the lottery.
That's a big adjustment mentally for a kid who isn't accustom to the spotlight as yet.
But the crazy thing is he continues to improve and makes it all seems so effortless. If we continue to develop and mature this kid into understanding what a talent he already is (as unlike Perry Jones he actually continues to improve his production) we have an excellent young player that for some unknown reason continues to fly way under the radar.
Colangelo better realize his growth rate and capitalize now.
