The quest for a new franchise player and then the subsequent building around said player would offer a sharp contrast to our experience with Dwight Howard. Honestly though, I think Dwight is staying and we'll be spared the hunt for franchise talent and instead strap in as we craft short and medium term plans to surround him with talent.
I don't think Dwight is leaving, but I sort of feel the same way. I have been going to Magic games since when Shaq first came into the league. I think I would lose massive interest in the Magic if they let Dwight go. I would be that frustrated with the organization. But, I also got my Pistons and Heat to root for.
