if the 6ers amnesty Brand they'd be nearly $20M under the cap. they wouldn't need to s&t Iggy, they could sign Anderson and still be $10M under the cap, and there's every chance Iggy opts out after next season anyway - so they could look to retool with a Monta/Smith/etc option then.

We don't operate like that on this board. Philly WILL trade for Ryan (not sign him) and they WILL give us their best player for him.

I just read online that Martins was interviewing someone today at the Hyatt at the airport. If this is true I hope this was the finalist ironing out details in preparation for a press conference soon. If its not and it's just us still going though the process I'm not sure I'll be able to take another week or so of this.

ya, pretty hopeless... any teams out there willing to trade a mid to late first round pick for BBD and/or JJ? I don't really see any other options to persuade them.
