^Full MLE is out of the question since we paid luxury tax this year. One of the changes to the CBA. So whether we amnesty, he retires or he stays, we only have the mini-MLE to work with. PEACE.

I love the scenarios that have us getting multiple "very unlikely" guys by splitting the tiny amount of money we have in even more ways.
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.

Pimp is right. i cant understand why people dont bother checking some basic facts.

All we have is the Mini MLE whice is 3Mil per year for 3 years and our #27 draft pick this year.

Step 1 :
Get Jason Terry or Nash for the Mini MLE ( i believe Terry is a better fit for us)
step 2 :
Use whatever it takes to get a decent starter Center : Dalembert Or Camby are the most realistic options.
We can try to send JamesJones + Turiaf + our draft pick to the Rockets, and have them pick up the option they have on Dalembert for 6.7 Mil.
Or ask Camby to come for the Vet min..i dont know if he'll be intersted.
Or find a way to move up the draft, and pick a capable starting Center (Fab Melo?).

That's the best we can do without sending out real rotation guys. get smart, get real.

Draft Festus Ezeli, grab Ray Allen in Free Agency, and call it an off-season.This team doesn't need much else.Just a solid Center and a guy that can spell Wade for about 10-15 minutes a game.

Jason Terry is looking better then Ray right now, Younger & healthier. and he could give us minutes as a PG too, whice is a big plus considering we have Wade.

Festus Ezeli doesnt look impressive at all, he's not a starter NBA Center. Pittman will probably be better then him next year. Fab Melo might be a starter caliber player, but it's a risk. i prefer to go for Dalembert, he's solid and you know what you're getting.

Jason or Ray,it really doesn't matter.I'd take either one of them on this team. And I don't know what you've seen or heard, but Ezeli has all the tools to be a solid big man in the league. He possesses good athleticism, elite shot-blocking skills,he's an above average rebounder, plays solid pick-and-roll defense and he has a decent 10 foot jump-shot.

Those are all the things that the Heat needs in a big man. Those are all the things that Dexter lacks. So to me,drafting Ezeli is a "no brainer". The only question mark is,how healthy is he? Has he fully recovered from that torn ACL injury?

Uhh, Garnett and Wade are actually good friends from what I've read.

They were sitting together during the Dunk Contest in 2011 too.

If there is no beef between then then sure, but i doubt that.

We should draft one of Melo, Festus, or Andrew Nicholson if available.
Then with the min mid lev convince L Odom to come back. & for the min i like the defencive ball pressure that Doling brings. + is a decent 3 point shooter.
On draft night i would try & trade Pittman fro a future 2nd.

Chalmers - Dooling - Cole
Wade - Miller -
Bron - Battier - Jones
L Odom - Haslem - J Venado
Bosh - Anthony - Melo/Festus

The last spot would be for either Turiaf, or Harris.

I havent followed the draft which i usually do with my NBA Draft Twix Picks. I feel we need to make sure we get at least one big time veteran addition this summer.

Can you imagine us though if we got Nash? Lebron and Wade with THE best playmaking PG in the game who is an automatic shooter? With Rio as our Sixth man of the year candidate?

I don't see many free agent options for us at center. So we'll have to draft another one. And hope Pittman is ready to step up next year.

So I'd use the mini-mle on Nash or Jamal Crawford. Both have professed a desire to get here. And both can play the 1 in conjunction with Rio.

If mike miller retires, is his contract void? If so maybe we can sign and trade him with a 2nd round pick for ray Allen or Steve nash so the Celtics or suns don't lose either player for nothing. Allen sign and trade for miller and pick miller to retire after trade and sign nash for mid level. Is this even possible?

Well one thing for sure I don't want to repeat 2006-2007 again. Riley kept everything as is and thought that was good enough. This team as is, is not going to be good enough next year. We need to keep adding pieces. Ray Allen would be amazing here, especially if Wade doesn't improve. We could just bench him for a sharp shooter.

Ray Allen will also affect our crowd noise with his big shots in transition/fast break and crunch time. I'd love that type of advantage. We don't have that right now on our team, our fast break is basically Lebron and Wade attacking, but Allen running with us at the fast break spotting up, makes us even more dangerous.

PG: Wade
SG: Allen
SF: Lebron
PF: Haslem
C: Bosh

Oh god please give that to us.

Oh yeah, if Festus is available, draft him.

I can just imagine:

*Mike Breen Voice:
"WADE WITH THE STEAL!!!"
"WADE PASSES IT TO LEBRON! WHO GIVES IT BACK TO THE TRAILING ALLEN!"

*the crowd begins to stand up and prepares to explode with excitement"

"RAY ALLEN FOR THREE! BAANG!"

*crowd errupts*

"TIME OUT (Boston/Chicago/OKC/NYK)

*Ray Allen runs into the huddle and gets a high 5 from everyone. Turiaf is still celebrating, knocking Spo and Rothstein over as he flails his arms and yells.*

Why would You want to move Wade to PG Full time? are u trying to shorten his carrer?

Ray looks done..i'd much rather get Nash or Terry, Nash is a better player but Terry is a better fit being able to play both backup SG AND backup PG while providing the scoring and outside shooting we need.

Festus doesn't excite at all, he won't be better then Dexter next year. we need to get Camby/Dalembert or move up the draft and get a real prospect. id love for us to buy an extra pick and get a Arnett Moultrie/Fab Melo/Andrew Nicholson.

Who the hell said Wade will start at the 1? That would be just one lineup example we could have on the court, especially the 4th quarter. Ray is backing up Wade the majority of the time, he's not starting.

Terry isn’t interested in signing a one-year deal with the Mavericks.

“I won’t be here,” Terry said if the Mavericks take that route. “You can count on that. If they’re doing that, you won’t see the Jet on the runway in Dallas. But my time here was good.”

Can you imagine if LeBron said anything of that nature?

I can't stand Jason Terry. Oh well, if adding him helps the team (It probably would) I'll get over it.

Then what the hell is the point? Wade is playing 38+ minutes per game in the playoffs. Do you want Ray here for less then 10 minutes a night? what kind of a rhythm or impcat do u think he'll have with that? he's not Norris Cole u can use for spot minutes.

Why do you keep repeating this? Festus is exponentially better than Pittman.Oh,and you can go ahead and get the thought of Miami landing Dalembert, out of your head.Dude is all about the $.
