I don't think PJIII has superstar potential, but you can't tell me there's 5 guys in this draft who should be listed before him, it's severe longshot for him vs a lot of guys with no chance

I am too..this guy will be the steal of the draft. Big, strong, aggressive and can handle the ball like a PG...that is very unique.
Denver might take him at 20 if available but I'm hoping Mavs grab him at 17.

I'm hoping he's available at 21 when the Celtics two picks are up

Do you know what upside is? Perry has tons of it, although he'll never reach it IMO. Lol at anyone without Perry Jones on their potential superstar list.

Lol at anyone with anyone other then Anthony Davis on a potential superstar list.

See how easy it is?

IF you don't count in Perry Jones and especially Drummond, Davis doesn't have superstar potential as well!

2. Lamb- could be Kevin Durant of SGs
3. Davis- could be great on defense
4. Royce White- could be Diaw 2.0, average maybe 15/10/5
5. Dion Waiters- James Harden esque, could be an excellent SG

Making a list of "superstars" you have Boris Diaw 2.0?

Potential dude, he will probably never live up to his potential because of what you mentioned!
So those lists are POTENTIAL Stars, reading properly helps sometimes!

He doesn't even have a clear cut position In the nba, let alone superstar Potential.

lol @ you not recognizing the immense potential this guy has. almost everyone else does, all the draft boards talk about it.

In terms of Superstar Potential, I rank players:

1.) Anthony Davis
2.) Perry Jones
3.) Andre Drummond
4.) Brad Beal
5.) Kidd-Gilcrest

I'd wouldn't argue against Meyers Leonard however. The guy is a 7 footer with above average NBA athleticism and footwork for a bigman. He can knock down shots, and has the potential to develop some really good post moves. Just about getting stronger and honing his craft and post moves.

Anthony Davis
Drummond
Beal
Perry Jones
Lillard (his atleticism mixed with his excellent shooting ability could make him a more athletic better defending Steve Nash)

Based on pure uppermost ceiling without considering bust potential
1. Drummond - He could be a Dwight Howard on defense but with a much better offensive game
2. Perry Jones - If he can become SF and be able to find a consistent jumpshot I think he could be close to Durant on offense (just too tall for other SFs to guard) and could guard both forward positions
3. Davis - Could be a Dwight on defense but with a little better offensive game
4. Rivers - He has a franchise player mentality and he is already a born scorer. He could be a easy first option and if he gets better on defense he could be a franchise player
5. Royce White - He has the body of a big SF and he ball handling of a guard. If he controls his anxiety he could become a point-forward and could get to the rim at will. Think LBJ without the jumpshot

Honorable Mention - Leonard, Waiters, Lamb

Davis
Drummond
Barnes
Lamb
PJ3

Maybe Beal, and as a long shot, Quincy Miller.

But I think guys like MKG, Rivers, Waiters, Wroten, etc. have all-star potential rather than superstar potential.

If Rivers is on most or a lot of peoples list of potential superstars then what is holding him back? I get the others but I don't see an obvious constraint with Rivers

being able to get into the lane but not being able to finish at a very high rate.
streaky shooting with bad shot selection.
not being able to do anything other than score.
not making his team or teammates better.
not being good enough to be ball-dominant at the NBA level.
trying to be ball-dominant but being a poor decision maker.

i see a lot of possible constraints.
